Lisu. good or bad?

My main persona had an interesting run in with Lisu a short while ago and I find her rather... unique for her willingness to RP a prostitute. It got me to thinking once I was done laughing as to how the general public feels about such an action. Should it be allowed or no, and why?

I vote yes.

It's my opinion that Lisu can (and does) pull it off in a manner I enjoy. She roleplays, and she does it tastefully, and consistently.

On the other hand, I don't think everyone could effectively and tastefully create such a character, and take him or her beyond the 'laughingstock' and 'cry for attention' stages.

Okay that is just weird. Me being new to these boards most likely did something wrong. Go figure. Anyway it was nothing major with my poll questions. Either yes, no or I don't care. I thought it would an interesting discussion as to how "right" or "wrong" this type of RP is, or if it's suitable for a family type game. Any thoughts?

Actually, I'm not entirely convinced she's actually a prostitute. Are you sure the whole 'whore' thing isn't just something others have labelled her with? When last I spoke with her she was... providing services that were rather like what a waitress or a servant would do, not anything sexual.

I caused the last few problem with the poll.

I split the thread into two separate threads and moved all the discussion to the new thread. That's what caused the -1 replies and the screwed up dates.

A few of you caught the topic before I could delete it and saw the errors.

In any case, I'm sorry, but that poll had to go. Something was corrupt, and Comicraft has temporarily patched the polls but he's working on a more permanent fix. Instead of deleting everything, I moved it all to a new thread.

It's not boxfound if it's not RARE.

The whole reason I started this thread was a friend of mine was being solicited by her in Solhaven late last night. He asked if I could some *save* him. I wish I kept logs of things that happened but I don't so briefly describe what happened. When my persona first entered the room I was told out loud to back off and find my own. She then proceeded to whisper to me that I should "Back off because he's loaded and was about to make a sale." We played along for a short while as she explained her "services" which consisted of three stages. One being she listens to you talk about old friends, lovers, war stories. Stuff like that. Stage two being she will follow you to a public event, stay at your side and listen to whatever or be a piece of arm candy is you so desire. The third stage mostly takes place behind locked doors. You make your own call there.
