Winsock Error?

I get a Winsock Error when I attempt to use the Launcher Update Utility to install Wizard, and it refuses to let me download it and causes me to close the Launcher. The exact error is.

Sockets: Winsock Error
Operation Would Block Line=469

Any help would be appreciated.

Reboot.

Uninstall PsiNet (or Lich, does Lich do that too?) and see if you can get in the game nude.

I have tried restarting the computer. I do not have Psinet at all. This is just trying to get into Gemstone from the Play page on choosing character, and downloading everything needed to play.

I tried 2 different browsers, still got the same error. I also tried the Desktop Launcher, and it wouldnt go past the username and password part.

You may just need to wait until you can actually log in the game. That could be causing some of your issue. There is no actual connection to the servers, at least not from a log in. I know some folks are still actually playing. I got disconnected for some reason and couldn't get back in.
