I broke my wrist playing in goal for my football team an it hurts badly.

I did get the girl-of-the-game award though so that was cool even though we lost.

Its hard to type with a plaster cast on...I feel like Hevinsbane

lolz

<<I did get the girl-of-the-game award though so that was cool even though we lost.>>

Pity awards are always good. I didn't get a broken hand of the game award when I broke my hand, though, so I wouldn't know. :(

yes those on the other side of the water would call it soccer, though it is football.

And bob, it wasnt a pity award. I am talented...just injured and deserved the award.

Being good at the worst "sport" ever does not mean you are talented.

Start breaking your wrist in boxing, thanks.

Congratulations on your award, hon. Sorry it had to come with the "surprise package" of a broken wrist. :(

She didn't said "basket ball"

She saids "football" (soccer)

So, nah, she isn't playing the worst game ever made that is pointless and finish 90% of the time with marks like 90-87

X is right about the worst sport ever. I thought we (in the States) had some joker with orange crates invent basketball, though.

edit: oh yeah, and that wrist thing sux0rz. Get well soon, and learn what the proper name for soccer is. :D

Basketball was invented in the United States by some guy that threw balls into baskets.

He'd have to climb a ladder to get the ball out of the basket.

Edited to clarify that basketball was invented in Massachusetts by someone that was born in Montreal.

That was a question on Saved By the Bell. "Who invented Basketball"

Here's another question: "Why did that show suck so much?"

Worst sport ever is GOLF. Why the hell the networks televise it is a mystery of gargantuan proportions. It is far more interesting to watch a tree grow than watch golf. Of course, I might have a different opinion if I had ever actually played the sport.

Worst sport ever is anything that involves women that doesn't also involve oil.

Good fundamentals my ass, yeah, great layups will really fill an arena.

Yay, congrats on the award, sorry about the wrist thing but at least you get to milk it for all the sympathy you can.

Also Football (Soccer as some of you crazy american folk call it) is a beautiful game, only sport that is better is tennis. Fact.

ROFL. Tennis rules, seriously the atmosphere in centre court at Wimbledon is so amazing, I go every year, its like the best days ever!

Also, football = beautiful all the time, all of those muscular male legs in shorts.... /end girly-ness

Broken wrist - Sorry it happened. Good thing you're not a man with the dominant hand/wrist broken. (Poor Bob)

Tennis - Le Suck
Golf - Le Suck

Soccer (football to freaks) - Is ok. The plays and strategies involved are very similar to Basketball.

Basketball - Is blah without the greats playing.

Football (real football and rugby if your a freak from outside US borders) - The greatest sport ever.

Soccer is a great sport and the fans are demented. I was up until freaking dawn watching the World Cup matches. Best play I ever did see in any sport was a goal Pele had for the Cosmos, and that was when he was over 40.

I had my cast taken off my arm today and I am soooooo happy.
It felt really weird when it was first taken off and it hurts when I try to bend it, especially if I try to do the limp-wrist a'la Hammerrhead....but I guess I should expect that having not been able to move my wrist for the last 4 and a half weeks.

Anyway, it beats how it was and at least I can have a bath now without having to sit with one arm up in the air :D
