I just installed lich for the first time. I've gotten some pointers from some other lich users, but I've run across some problems that they (and I) don't know how to fix.

1. All of my front end squelches are no longer being squelched. These include "Type INVENTORY HELP for more options." and "It had nothing else of value.", among several others. I do not have any working squelches. I've already tried disabling and re-enabling.

2. Some highlights have changed. As far as I can tell, these deal with monsterbold NPCs. As an example, "The guard says," previously was in green per the default 'say' highlight color. The whole portion, including the comma, is now yellow to match the monsterbold highlight.

Most of the highlight part is innocuous, but it caught me by surprise and has affected some highlights I'm used to seeing elsewhere. I'm more concerned with the lack of squelching.

I'm using the Wizard FE.

So what am I doing wrong?

The monsterbold stuff is probably from the stormfront XML stream being rendered in the wizard. Can't help you much with that, but that's my guess why.

I usually strip down to my neon yellow thong and electric nipple clamps. Instant crowd-pleaser.

Thanks. That makes sense. Not sure if that's why it's interfering with squelches too, or not.

I've found that looking at tables is buggy, too, in that I can no longer see who is seated at what table or even which are occupied.

You answered your question with the previous sentence.

Yep, if you actually go to a table and then LOOK TABLE it works. An annoyance I know.

To fix this, type "set dialog off". I thought I made Lich do this at login if you were using the Wizard, but it turns out I didn't. The next update should have it though.

This is also because of the Stormfront stream. Your squelches are working, but the line is no longer "Type INVENTORY HELP for more options.", it's "Click INVENTORY HELP for more options."

That seemed to do the trick. Thanks for all the fast feedback.
