Pure Bard Question

I am converting my bard to a pure but I can't decide on my spells.

What should I pick:

25 Minor Elemental with 40 Bard Ranks.

Or

14 Minor Elemental with 51 Bard Ranks

Or

6 Minor Elemental with 59 Bard Ranks

Post your level, and you should probably post your stats too, as well as where you plan on hunting.

Having no experience as a pure bard, I'm still going to say the 11 ranks of MnE are probably worth it to have 425, for more net CS.

Currently lvl 40... wasnt sure where I plan on hunting yet.

Also Looking at some pure bard builds, they seem to forgo Shield or Dodging, I currently have a build that gives me 2x shield, should I drop that to get more spells?

No brainer- get 425 ASAP. If DS / TD are an issue, the investment for 430 is also worth it.

Ok thanks, one last question. Does Manip lore affect 1013, or just 1030?

I think 1013 is MMC

Manip is for 1002 / 1030 / 1004

Im not 100 percent positive but I am pretty sure that having 75 Minor Elemental ranks and 127 Bard ranks is better than have 25 Minor ranks and 177 Bard Ranks as far as CS goes.

at 40 trainings I would definately try for 30 MnE and 40 Bard songs.

I think that will get you the best CS to song buck ratio, but I didnt actually run any numbers.

GBB67 / 3 + 8 / 10 + 100 + 20 * 3 / 4 + 7 / 2 = 22 + 1 + 100 + 15 + 4 = 142 (+ 425 bonus)

25 / 3 + 100 + 20 * 3 / 4 + 20 / 2 + 27 / 4 = 8 + 100 + 15 + 10 + 7 = 140

75 and 127 is superior to 25 and 177, but 67 and 133 is marginally superior to both for bard CS.
