Any of you ever use this before? I bought a laptop on blackfriday from HP (through bing), and was supposed to have gotten 30% cashback. Supposedly it was going to take like 6 weeks to get credited but I've yet to hear anything from Bing.

I wrote an email to their customer service and this is what I was told.

Thank you for contacting us at Bing cashback Customer Support.

Unfortunately, we are only authorized to credit your account once for cancelled purchases. The merchant has cancelled that credit stating that your transaction does not qualify for cashback. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced.

That sucks dude. I've used them twice now and did not have a problem. Did you happen to save screenshots of the transaction? When they did the Ebay %35 ridiculousness I made screenshots of every single page I clicked on in case they rejected the offer.

Other than that I don't know what to tell you. Does it still show up as "pending" or something on the Bing website? It usually takes more like 10 weeks instead of 6 (actually when it was Live cashback it took nearly 100 days to credit me). Only other suggestion would be to go on Slickdeals and see if anyone else has had the problem and found a way to talk to the right rep (never e-mail, always call for this kind of stuff BTW, much easier to complain to a real person than via e-mail).

HP could be the problem here, not Bing, from what the rep is saying. Have you tried contacting them to see what happened with the transaction?

I didn't even think to take screenshots. I'm going to try and phone HP and see what they say.
