Which FE do you think runs hunting scripts the best. I prefer Wizbot. Dont know all the commands but i have a kick ass Zombie Script and Wraith Script for Mule if your a smite hunter. Also have a good Cold guardian script for it. anyone have any others for wizbot that you like to share?

WizardFE is suiting me more than nicely right now.
There doesn't seem to be anything I can do in Wizbot that can't be done in the WizardFE.

There's a huge difference between the two.
For example.. you have made a script to hunt with that goes 24/7..
Does it:
* Interact with anyone around you?
* Log out when a GM comes into the room?
* Go to a room where healers are when it's injured?
* Answer someone whispering to you?
I've never used Wizbot, but I've interacted with someone who was using it and and it's downright amazing what you can do with it. I can react to an unlimited number of open variables... so the more you program it, the more complex it can become.

<< * Interact with anyone around you? >>
No one is ever around me.
<< * Log out when a GM comes into the room? >>
Yes, but if that ever happened, I'd be busted plain and simple. GMs don't warp to scripters, they just send you a message saying "Wave your longsword to show that you're aware of your surroundings." or "Clap your hands and lean back to show that you're aware of your surroundings." Or some other random order. Sometimes they also send in weird critters like a pink manticore. If it reached a point where a GM had to actually fog to me because they suspected I'm scripting, then if I logged out, I'd be done for.
<< * Go to a room where healers are when it's injured? >>
I'm never injured. And where I hunt there are no empaths period. If the time comes that I do hunt something that can potentially injure me, I can easily make my script buy the nessecary herbs to heal the injury using the WizardFE. Just have it type in HEALTH, then if there's an injury, go to the bank, withdraw 10k, go on to the herbalist, and then use matches to heal down.
I can post a heal down script in a bit. Juspera's site has all the messages for the different wounds/scars, and a list of what potions heal them.
<< * Answer someone whispering to you? >>
No one has ever whispered to me since no one hunts where I do.
Not saying Wizbot is bad, just that there's been no need for it. All efforts should be put on not getting caught period, not how to react if you are caught. Put simply, if you're hunting and someone thinks your scripting, then you're pretty much done for period. Especially if it's a GM. I don't think logging off will be that helpful.

<<* Log out when a GM comes into the room?>>
You also see Silentbear who is blatantly scripting.
>hold silentbear
>You hold Silentbear's hand.
>You run to the North Gate.
ponder
>You ponder.
whisper silentbear GameMaster Bobmuhthol.
>You whisper quietly to Silentbear.
>Silentbear just left.
[Private] Silentbear: Are you a GameMaster?
You focus your mind on Silentbear:
"Yes. Now stop script hunting."

I'd say wizardFE because there isn't any documentation available for the Wizbot. Just about anything that's done in the wizbot CAN be done in the FE, but it might take a little bit more effort.
Also, I heard that the wizbot doesn't take into account the round time meter, and with a short burst of lag, your entire script could get majorly fudged up.
And, yes, there are ways to do just about anything in the wizard, given enough ingenuity.

Wizbot allows for multiple variables while the wizard FE allows basically for one.
I'm not trying to sell anyone on Wizbot as I've never used it.. I've just seen it in action and it's amazing. It far exceeds anything you can do with the FE.

Such as?
You can make a script that cast spells, that heals, that hunts, that picks boxes, that skins, that sells all the treasure you collect, deposits in the bank, that uses CoL signs, that hunts with haste. Infact... I don't know anything you CAN'T do with the WizardFE.
I'd use it, since I hear it's compatible with WizardFE scripts... only thing is I sincerely have no reason to do so. Perhaps when the time comes and I find I can't do something using the Wizard, I'll switch... but I honestly have no idea what such a thing would be.

Another nice feature about the WizardFE is that you can edit a script while it's being run. So you can actually fix a script while you're running it, instead of fixing it, then having to re-run it.

Can you extract variables in Wizard?

Well, I mean utilitarian feature.
Obviously the Wizbot has variables that store mana, and no the Wizard doesn't have a variable that stores your mana. The Wizbot != WizardFE, otherwise there would have been no point in making the Wizbot.
But as far as actual utility, I have yet to see a difference. Like I said, I simply haven't come across one, doesn't mean one doesn't exist. If you know something utilitarian that can be done in the Wizbot, that can't be done in the FE, feel free to share. I would actually be interested because I have no problem switching over, it's not like I dislike the Wizbot. I just have yet to see a reason to switch over yet. Being able to log off when a GM pops in, or responding to someone who knows you're scripting isn't exactly a great reason, since the goal of scripting is not to get caught period. If your script isn't stealthy enough, then whispering a random response isn't going to do you any good and may just bait you out.
I used the Wizbot for a bit, I just used my Wizard scripts on it, but I kept getting booted because of its timer.
Another very powerful scripting FE is ZMud as well as DrConnect. May want to look into those if you're interested. DrConnect was made for DragonRealms The Fallen, but it can be used with Gemstone just as well.

I guess one solid conclusion is to script using what you're most comfortable with.

Is it just me, or is Dr-Connect extremely SLOW? Its hilighting crashes the program, and you have to register it.
