How is Zmud and is it worth getting?

I heard it's good for scripting, i also hear you can find some graphics to simulate WizFE graphics.

zMUD is teh bomb. If I could ever devote a large chunk of my time to it, eventually I'd just have a pseudo-intelligent bot playing my characters for me.

I hear scripting in zMud is like writing basic C code, i've never tried it tho, anyone here thats actually scripted with it? Maybe i'll print out tutorials to read at home.

I use to use zMUD I'm not a zMUD genius or anything but the trigger system is really helpful for scripting and easy to understand. If your planning to get zMUD its 25 dollars right now and they are raising the price to 30 by the end of the month. The versions 6.2 and up
have added types of triggers in them

The highest crack/serial zMUD is up to on the internet is I think 6.15 or something like that. Haven't found anything over

Downloaded the trial version and it wont let me connect to the damn game, says cant find IP

I paid $15 for zMUD back in 97, because you needed it to play Fed, as they didn't have their own FE.

But it was worth it, 7 years later, millions of free upgrades later, and I'm still using it, and it still rocks. It is by far the best MUD FE in the world.
It puts the wizard and even Stormfront to shame.

Yeah I had the same problems with getting it to work in GS. Sent an email to the his support and of course got no info back from this rinky dink company.

I doubt the scripting is like C, since the main program is written in Pascal, hah. I've always considered this to be pretty weak in light of that, although the trigger scripting system seems a very well thought out idea.

Zugg himself always answers my EMails within the week. Considering this is pretty much a one-man company, with tons of online gamers who contribute on an as-is basis, I think he's done pretty damn well. Give him some time.

And the language is pretty fluid.

There is a crack for Zmud 6.62... jes found it the other day, was wondering if anyone had any tips on scripting. I used it a while back, but not much. and i dont remember a thing
