I am locked out for no reason, Itzel lied. Flat out, refuses to admit it
I am locked out for Role-playing, they said I did too many actions at once, by getting champagne, drinking champagne, opening a book, reading a book, turning the page, closing the book and sitting down. ..This was supposedly disturbing the merchant Herrani, but only when I did it, not when everyone else in the room was standing, sitting, bowing, talking, reading books, flipping pages. Now I am locked up, the right to assist they have taken away from me, after I tried assisting. I want something done about Itzel's abuse of power. I was told by Talisker and Itzel I was not allowed to role-play .. and when I asked if that meant I could talk OOC then, I was told no, it was a role-playing game. I have the log and want to send it to whoever can do something about it. It's a blatant abuse of power that is now denying me the right to enjoy a product I pay for.

(Ratolin it's alllllllll fun and games until itzel is like 'oh shit, I shouldn't have talked about his kid.)
>
(Ratolin fuck you itzel.)
>
Ratolin belts out, "FUCK YOU GAYMASTERS!!!"

Dajuan raises an eyebrow in Ratolin's direction.

Hopefully he didn't unleash the balls of steel on them.

I was hanging around this breifly. During what I assume was the beginning of this.

I didn't save a log, but Ratolin was pretty deliberately being an annoying ass. Before Herrani could even really explain what she was there to do, his need for attention was disrupting everything. His "RP" was (in my opinion) the equivalent of saying "PAY ATTENTION TO ME!!!!!!!!!!" over, and over, and over, and over....

Sounds like Ratolin to me. Especially since he can't even get his facts straight and spell the merchant name right. H-I-R-A-A-N-I.

Maybe I should start!

:yeahthat:

The GM announcement by Itzel clearly stated "Keep in mind that Hiraani is, on top of being a scholar and a member of the Queen's household, a bit of a prim, serious, dignified elf. She'll react to shenanigans accordingly."

He was being deliberately disruptive and rude (who brings a water cannon into a library!) so I'm hardly surprised Itzel refused to work for him and had him escorted from the premises. It was all handled IC too.

I was there last night, Ratolin was a complete ass. I am a little surprised though that he got banned though. Must of been the last straw so to speak.

On a side note, I whispered OOC to someone basically saying how unusually slow this was going and about 15 sec later Hiranni whispered to me basically that I was free to leave and it was due to them making sure everyone got what they wanted. I was kind of shocked that they could see our OOC thoughts, also why would they make a comment to me in reference to my OOC thoughts....

But then I woke up and realized we are talking about GS......

haha, yeah, GMs can read everything that happens in the room.

I found that out when I played too.

I got busted for whispers once too.

It may have been the time Alfster was pick pocketing the merchant but I can't remember for sure.

If a merchant/NPC is annoying me in some way I make a point of making an OOC whisper about it to a friend. I know they can see it but there isn't a damned thing they can do about an OOC whisper not directed at them.

I once asked a friend, in whisper, if he thought Zanthie would let me deepen her. To my liquid spewing surprise, she replied that the only thing getting deepened in this equation would be my head.

Yeah, antagonising a merchant is always a good thing...

I enjoyed rping with the customers when I ran a merchant, and sometimes I'd watch whispers etc, and sometimes not. Just depended on my mood. Either way, whispering to another person intentionally criticizing the GM is just stupid. It almost always has negative repercussions and no one benefits.

Just bitching to bitch, in a whisper because you know the GM has the ability to see it, but in most cases won't or can't respond, is a douche move.

On the other side of the coin I most always kept quiet and behaved and would whisper something like "wowj she's really doing a great job today" etc and I'd almost always get picked for a service.

Seemed a little too coincidental to me.

If I'm at the point where I'm doing that I could really care less what the GM running the NPC thinks. I probably don't care about getting a service from them and typically just want them to know they're doing it wrong.

Perhaps you should get something altered to say YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG.

Then offer it to the merchant as a gift.

Sometimes having the GM able to see your whispers is fun. Or those invisible mychar things. I used mychar to have Kuaike pee in the corner of a merchant's room to mark her territory once. Ah, the good old days.

Amusing update: Ratolin took to Facebook and wrote on kookiegod's wall, complaining about this.

Next step: Ratolin is burning down Itzel's house.
