I just recently found a veil iron halberd on the weapon table in the pawnshop for 60k.. I was so happy, as I just rolled up a warrior and decided to make him use polearms instead of thw, or some other weapon type. I'm just wondering what's the best thing YOU found in a pawnshop.. and what did ya pay for it? Kinda wanna know what people basically throw away.

Found a 5x tower shield for 24k yesterday. I was just looking for a cheap 4x tower and it ended up being 5x.

Granted this was in plat, but I found a 6x altered/heavily scripted shield yesterday for a little under 200k. I was happy.

Back before rechargeables were so common I found a 606 rechargeable. I also found a fresh 318 scroll recently

I don't look much for weapons, but someone(s) sold 2 wigs to the pawnshop a week or two ago. I snatched them up for 49k each; I haven't seen a wig in a player shop sell for less than 200k.

Three things that aren't necessarily worth selling, but have a nice nostalgic value I found are a heavy golden flail and a massive wooden flail (crit weighted old invasions items, and one of my first GS memories) and a heavy bronze morning star (also one of my first).

I liked when there would be 10+ people in The Landing's pawnshop at all times. Everyone just waiting for stuff to be put on the tables. Then it would be a mad scramble to grab it. It was a fun place to hang out.

I've found a few nice items but the only thing I remember about them now is the mad panicked rush to the bank because I never seemed to have enough silvers on me.

Most recent neat item was a 1750 scroll. Have also found numerous heroism scrolls, raise dead, etc. It's amazing how many people who can't read don't even bother to have someone else take a look at their scroll.
I'll sometimes buy jewelry items that are in the 50-75k range, thinking that even if it's a bust I'll get half my coins back, unlike a 500k item that could just as easily be a bust and you'll only get 35k back. I've found a couple of neat items that way.

Found a mithril claidhmore a few months ago. Had to dish out a hefty sum of 120k for it, I think.

I always spam the thought-net trying to get people to read my scrolls but no one ever answers, so I always just drop them (helplessly) into the pawnshop, since I only have a 50-space locker.
This is a good thread, though, and a good reminder for me to pay more attention to the pawnshop.

I love the pawnshop. I make between 50-100k on the days I play just buying and reselling junk.
