Personally, I'd rather a company that makes sights spend their time making better and more accurate gun sights than find ways to sneak biblical verses onto them, but maybe that is just me.

I believe it said in the article they have always had the verse numbers on their weaponry. Sounds like the Military didn't do their research.

Earlier, after it emerged that the Michigan-based manufacturer was putting codes for scriptures on the scopes, Trijicon issued a statement saying that it has put scripture references on its products for more than two decades.

It sucks that the company gave up the fight but maybe they will start adding little nude versions of Diana or Artemis on their scopes (or if we want to keep the Christian theme.. Christina of Bolsena, St. Christopher, St. George, St. Hubert of Liege, St. Nicholas of Myra, or St. Sebastian).. That might help moral, AND still help properly guide copper plated lead into terrorists with precision.
