recently i put up a sale for a bard and received a ton of offers. one being a silver offer and 2 krolvin backslashers. this said person persists on pushing the sale but i keep telling them i don't want to go through the trouble of selling the backslashers. all of a sudden i get a PM from "person b" that their friend "tiner" wants a pair of krolvin backslashers. so i end up selling/trading the bard account.

also during this time. "person a" is asking me not to take anymore offers and that the account is sold. i get another PM from "person b" soon after offering me a bid like they were trying to see if i would pull some shit.


soon after "person b" starts ignoring me and recently i find out that this character "tiner" has been sold for weeks now and so i think man, maybe this person is lying about the wanting the backslashers. i have some sources that the new buyer of "tiner" is a stand up guy so yea.

so this brings me back to "person a" and "person b" being in cahoots just to hurry the sale.

long story short. i was a dumb ass for accepting the offers - realizing this all too late and making a hasty decision on my part. anyway, i can't believe the lengths people go through just to get an account/items. i'm butt-hurt at the fact that people do shit just like this and now i'm stuck with items.

person "a" is also offering to buy the backslashers now. and to return the account after i confronted them about the situation. rofl. i guess they didn't want me doing this. i also kept all the emails/ims/pms about everything just in case these people decide to say other wise.

i don't want to out the person right away so i'm keeping their identity hidden for now. but chances are i'll let the gs community know and to watch out for them.

and sure i could just suck it up and take persons a offer and just end things there but i'd rather keep the items and take a loss. at least you guys will know to keep away from these people.

That is kinda fucked up.

A good thing to keep in mind is that most hustles/scams are done under a time pressure to limit the amount of time you have to gather facts. Anyone that is offering you a good deal is willing to let you have time to think things over.

I agree it's a decent price bards are the best for resales, I've always wanted a bard and a voln fu'r... it seems to be a great combo. Most will want to buy for the utility, I want it to use.

There all the emails, people have our full dialogue through email. As I was 'apparently' hiding something. I have our full AIM convo also if needed.

You had a chance to take my paypal, or even more silvers, but you took 17m and the two krol slashers. You had other options, when you wrote me saying you were unhappy, I first offered to reverse the deal totally, you passed, then I offered to pay you 3m for the slashers which is the max value I gave them in the emails.

Over the emails you tried to have a buyout offer sit for a couple days, which to me is a bid not a buyout. I am happy I got the character, I'm sorry you felt I ripped you off, but that isn't the case.

If you feel I should post the AIM msg's I will, but I feel its really unnessary.

I also don't plan on commenting any more on this thread. I posted everything I had on my side because I have nothing to hide.

not sure you're even reading your emails right. i never once accepted your 10 mil bid. you're also twisting words and not adding my replies or IM messages. ontop of that the emails you provided have nothing to do with why i'm complaining. and you've sidestepped the whole reason why i IM'd you about earlier.

i also don't think others are understanding why i'm mad. i never once said she didn't pay or refused to pay or anything of that matter. she completed her side of the deal and it went fine. my problem isn't with the transaction itself but how it happened and people can stoop so low just to get a sale as soon as possible. i took the blame as far as maybe being a little too hasty with the transactions which is totally my fault. but you went out of your way with an extra account or a friends to lead me to believe i would have a potential buyer for the krolvin backslashers so that i would made the trade with you.

she wanted the buyout said and done with so she could get the account before i got any actual bids and offered the money and backslashers. i didn't want the backslashers and insisted it would be hard for me to sell.

i had a long week at the hospital so i wasn't in a rush to sell. reread the emails. never once i in a rush to sell the account.

and right after the transaction with sile happened [ which again. went totally fine ] somegsdude stop responding to my pms. and what happens next?

i go find tiner in game...and oh what? he's been sold?......weeks ago??? nooooooooooo.......

so let me just make this clear if i havent' already. the transaction went fine. i'm not mad about the transaction. i dont feel ripped off. we made a deal for 17mil and the backslashers. i got them. sile got ameiya. and about paypal you said it would take you forever for money to be sent. and from what i understand your e-checks are fail from a previous deal you made with someone [ i found this out later ] but thats the other person's business if they want to talk about it.

sitting on the buyout offer? i never agreed to anything until the last day. i was busy all week. was in no rush to sell what so ever. feel free to reread those emails. and you still stray away from the fault i'm pointing fingers at. i never said u ripped me off or never held up your part of the bargain.

i'm butt-hurt at the fact you pulled a scheme just to get the bard right away. is this what happened to the gs community? people pulling schemes for characters/accounts?

that CB wasn't his/hers it was someone elses. that was the CB before his/her buyout offer.

haha. you know i never noticed that. somegsdude knew that i was still acquiring the items and that they weren't in my possession. he could of easily asked who had them and to make the deal with them. but like i said i blame myself for making hasty
transactions and not realizing anything til the end. its been a hectic week at work and dickheads keep calling out in the maternity ward and i'm getting swamped. and trying to run this auction i'm having with a metric fuckton of items.

and no for anyone asking i'm not totally butt-hurt that i'm stuck with the backslashers. if you noticed everything on my auctions are being sold for cheap. i'm leaving the lands. done with GS. i just want to get rid of everything and if someone happens to make money off me. totally fine. and if i happen to make an extra mil here or there to sell for $8...totally fine as well.

recently i put up a sale for a bard and received a ton of offers. one being a silver offer and 2 krolvin backslashers. this said person persists on pushing the sale but i keep telling them i don't want to go through the trouble of selling the backslashers. all of a sudden i get a PM from "person b" that their friend "tiner" wants a pair of krolvin backslashers. so i end up selling/trading the bard account.

also during this time. "person a" is asking me not to take anymore offers and that the account is sold. i get another PM from "person b" soon after offering me a bid like they were trying to see if i would pull some shit.


soon after "person b" starts ignoring me and recently i find out that this character "tiner" has been sold for weeks now and so i think man, maybe this person is lying about the wanting the backslashers. i have some sources that the new buyer of "tiner" is a stand up guy so yea.

so this brings me back to "person a" and "person b" being in cahoots just to hurry the sale.

long story short. i was a dumb ass for accepting the offers - realizing this all too late and making a hasty decision on my part. anyway, i can't believe the lengths people go through just to get an account/items. i'm butt-hurt at the fact that people do shit just like this and now i'm stuck with items.

person "a" is also offering to buy the backslashers now. and to return the account after i confronted them about the situation. rofl. i guess they didn't want me doing this. i also kept all the emails/ims/pms about everything just in case these people decide to say other wise.

i don't want to out the person right away so i'm keeping their identity hidden for now. but chances are i'll let the gs community know and to watch out for them.

and sure i could just suck it up and take persons a offer and just end things there but i'd rather keep the items and take a loss. at least you guys will know to keep away from these people.
