As a disclaimer, I'm not too angry about what transpired below as I fell asleep while scripting hunting orcs at like 2AM. Being AFK was my fault. Whatevski.

That said... is this right? Looking back through the log, the guy joined my party at least 10 minutes before taking action, and waited for me to stance-dance into offensive.

I mean I just bought that maul. Killing my character would have been understandable, but stealing the weapon? What does everyone think?

He has to return it to you. If you report him that's likely all that will happen. Personally I would just ask for my maul back and if he returns it, call it even.

Hunt group closed and use optimus (which leaves a room as soon as it detects another player present). This won't stop someone from killing you or webbing you to hold you in place but why make it easier for them to do so.

From the clip in OP, it looks like he was using optimus.

The one time I tried to use Optimus with two of my characters grouped together, it wouldn't stop to kill mobs. It just kept running from room to room so I thought it was because it was detecting the second character. If it's a different issue, like the way I had something else setup, that would be great. I'm going to have to play with it some more.

I seriously think this shit is funny.. Maybe hitting your title would still be a desirable thing if we didn't have people afk hunting 24 hrs a day. What had happened was. I was in burrow orcs with my low level character doin a an heirloom bounty, you were scripting. When ever you came into the room, if something swung at you, you would swing, kill, and search MY orcs that I needed for my bounty, I asked you repeatedly to stop and I could tell you were afk. So I logged on with Razurn, went down there and joined your group. I said 'Hey wake up' I poked you. I then said "If you don't wake up I will disarm and kill you' and you didn't wake up so I disarmed and killed you then sold your maul to the pawnshop. Find me in game and I'll compensate you for your maul I took. I have no appologies however. A) Hunting scripts are for pussies. B) You were fuckin with my bounty. C) I was going to drag you back to town and get you healed/ raised and give you your maul back but you signed out right after you died. I'm usually not that much of an asshole, but I was pissed and it felt right.

According to policy, even that is a no-no, as an AFK-scripter cannot consent to CvC. But I mean honestly, after the first 2 times some douche's script fucks up your bounty, who isn't going to blast him? I imagine most scripts have an auto-log out on death option, so killing them likely doesn't really inconvenience them too much. Perhaps reporting them actually has a bit more bite ... unless you just want to stop them immediately.

Like I said, I'm not really upset about it - I just found it odd. As for swinging while your little guy was in the room, Optimus doesn't do that, at least not that I've ever seen. It has a roomcheck built into it.

That said, I'll find you in game for the maul. Should I look for Razurn?
