This game is basically DOTA 2.0. It's still in beta right now. They're looking at a fall release. If you're looking for something similar (aside from DOTA) that's already been released you could check out League of Legends as well.

best game ever. imo.

awesome updates. new heroes added almost every 2 weeks along with fixes. the game is in closed beta but already has unofficial tournament leagues. an official tournament recently started up that is being sponsored by alienware.

never played dota but i fell in love with this game in august.

Used to, gave out a few invites too, I think there's a long thread somewhere around here on it. Got bored of it after a while, just like DoTA. I never could play DoTA for more than a month, same with HoN. Haven't played LoL or whatever that other DOTA remake is, heard it was better than HoN though.

I'm playing LoL right now. It's alright but I am interested in trying HoN when it's actually released. The lack of any game mode but AP kinda bugs me. I always liked AR for the challenge.

HON has all sorts of game modes. AP, AR, BD, RD, SD.

Yeah all the original DOTA modes. I'm looking forward to it. I'd rather wait for a fully polished retail version than play the beta.
