Just saw the commercial...

Five androgynous looking Japanese men singing as the dig into fried fish McNuggets.

This has to be a sign for the world to end.

Is this in America too?

Is bird flu a problem back home?

You can get fish sticks at McDonalds?

Bobmuhthol
03-17-2004, 08:04 AM
I think she was saying that Fish McNuggets would be the same as fish sticks.

They aren't sold at McDonald's to my knowledge.

Thank you Bob for clarifying that for me. Thats exactly what I meant.

Hot dogs are processed hog anus.
Fish Sticks can't be much worse.

For some reason fish mcnuggets just sound grosser than fish sticks. I dont eat either though.

I wonder what the peta video of inhumane conditions for fish would be. I still remember the chicken one that was posted long ago.

<<Hot dogs are processed hog anus.>>

Please know wtf you're talking about.

Hot dogs are now made by hundreds of companies all across the globe, and each company has its own secret recipe. In general, however, hot dogs contain:

Meat
Meat fat
A "cereal filler" (bread crumbs, oatmeal or flour)
A little egg white
Spices (onion, garlic, salt, pepper, etc.)

Do you work at a hot dog processing plant? Til you do it, don't think you know about it.

That line was taken from the Simpsons. Don't you have school or something?

Bobmuhthol

<<Do you work at a hot dog processing plant?>>

No. And neither do you. Please shut up.

<<That line was taken from the Simpsons. Don't you have school or something?>>

It's not a very good line. And no.

When i was younger i worked temp at a chicken place, and during a meeting they said they sold 1million dollars worth of chicken bones to a hot dog place. I cant even imagine how many bones that would be but i assume its a helleva lot.

Stop googling shit and live fucking life, Bob. I've visited a plant actually in Ocala, FL. There's a reason why it says 99%.

<<Stop googling shit>>

I didn't google it, sorry.

<<I've visited a plant actually in Ocala, FL.>>

BUT I THOUGHT YOU WORKED AT A HOT DOG PROCESSING PLANT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

<<There's a reason why it says 99%.>>

As 'it' is not defined, and nowhere on this page is the string '99%', I'm going to assume you don't know what you're talking about.

Also I work at a hot dog processing plant and I know what goes on because I work there. I even visited a plant once and I also saw what goes on. Now you have to believe me because I said so.

Better to have seen than never experienced anything. Also, your logic is quite flawed, but for a 13 year old kid, you do alright. I hope one day soon you find something you experience that changes your viewpoints.

You're one type of special. Kids like you remind me that there's a thin line between intelligence and insanity. Enjoy your day, Bob, whatever you do.

Now this, I googled:

Your visit to a plant in Florida doesn't impress me. Most likely because you're lying.

I know fried fish nuggets and fishsticks are the same entity... but would you eat fishsticks from McDonalds?

I don't think so...

OK two major major points here
1- The "growing" trend is many americans including myself eat all beef hot dogs for A REASON. Hence I dont care what part of a pig it comes from, the beef "kosher" ones are just fine by me, if the jewish faith got one thing right, its how to prepare clean food, and you dont have to be jewish to enjoy it.

2 - You think fish sticks marketed by them are bad? Im still sick to my stomach over them serving LOBSTER ROLLS in the past!

Different countries have their own Mcdonalds specialty. I have travelled quite a bit.. and know for a fact that the North American Menu is not entirely the same with the rest. Japanese has Mcdonald's sushi in their speciality.. altered somewhat to make it fast-food. India has curry flavoured vegetarian burgers etc. The Philippines has spaghetti, Hong kong has a menu with Chicken and Rice. In canada we have Mc pizza. What works for one country, does not mean it will work for another. Fish McNuggets may or may not be introduced to north american market, they would probably be featured for a limited time.. but I doubt it would fly.

Beef would not go well with some if not majority of indians, japanese as we all know love their fish. Naturally.. Japan McDonalds would put fish Mcnuggets on their menu. It's a marketing strategy for a business to adapt to changing consumer preferences.. What Mcdonalds did is product adaptation, modifying chicken mc nuggets to fish mcnuggets to suit the taste and need of the japanese market. Sara lee Corp for example, when it entered the british market, changed the topping on it's cheesecake from the north american favourite of strawberry to black curant. Pepsi Co. tested six hundred flavours before being able to select two that would appeal to chinese tastes. It's a business strategy for a company to study carefully the cultural environment of any market.. foreign or domestic.

I can't even remember the last time I ate at McDonald's. Just looking at pictures of their food makes my arteries groan.

I asked for a plain cheeseburger at the McDonalds in Rome. They gave me a bun with a piece of cheese in between it. No burger. I wonder if that was on the menu.

McDonald's in India also serve lamb and goat, because people have a beef with killing cows (pun intended). It's kinda weird.

Has anyone gotten the Philly cheesesteak from there yet? Do they even sell them in other areas? I'd imagine they would, I don't think anyone from this area buys them. If so, how are they, and have you ever had a real one in the city?

I had a bite of one that my friend bought. It wasn't totally disgusting, but they should be shot for slandering Philly like that. I'm curious if they're available in other areas myself.

I still love McDonalds fries. The kids were going to Greece for the summer so for their last meal we went to Burger King for a Whopper, McD's for fries and Arby's for their Jamoca Shake. Went home for our feast.

BK's recent (within the past 5 or so years) change to fries makes them (vastly) superior.

<<we went to Burger King for a Whopper, McD's for fries and Arby's for their Jamoca Shake. >>

AHH! You went to McD for fries and then went to Arby's for something else?! I looove Arby's fries, they are the bestest!

<<You're in Delaware right? >>

Yup! It's a state in case anyone was wondering. You'd be suprised how many people haven't heard of Delaware or don't know where it is. :(

I rarely eat fast food anymore. I only eat fries at McDonalds now. I know I wouldn't want my fries to start tasting fishy just from the smell.

On a sort of related note... when I was young and would get PLASTERED and be hung over the next day, my test to see if I would stay hungover meant going to McDonalds and buying a fish sandwich, fries and a Coke. If that didn't make me sick... then my hangover would be going away. (also went through a summer where instead of there it was Jack Pirtles Chicken but doubt anyone here knows about that)

P. S. See... even the worse things for you have their uses!

all I remember of Delaware is that it costs like $5 in tolls to drive on the 10 miles of I-95 to get through the fucking state, between Boston and D.C.
