Anyone try their new pizza yet? After seeing the commercials where they state how shitty their pizza used to be, I figured I would give it a shot. It went from being my least favorite to my preferred (chain) pizza.

Anyone else try/like it?

I've tried it to, but to be honest I didn't notice a difference. But shitty pizzas all taste the same to me.

I take that back actually. Papa Johns is noticeably worse than other chains. The sauce is sugary as hell, and the crust is like rubber. No thanks.

The sauce is meh, but the main reason I like Dominos is because they have cheddar cheese, which is highly underrated on pizza.

The fact that I work at one had no influence on this.

I'm with you on the cheddar. But new Domino's is not much better or worse than old.

The Dominoes in Qatar uses goat cheese, pretty damn tasty too.

Cousin Vinnies and Marion's are huge around here. Local chains but chains none the less. Both are delightfull. And CV's delivers till 4am!

I couldnt imagine working at a food service place that served until 4am... good fucking god.

10pm was the latest I've stayed open, and that seemed too late.

I like Hungry Howie's for the most part, though my gf likes Papa John's crust better (and actually, it is pretty good around here). Pizza Hut usually does a bang-up job IME, too. I haven't had Domino's in forever, but I might have to try it again now.

Tried it. Eh. It's not really any better or worse. I order from them, though the last pizza took over a frickin' hour. They called and said my next one was free.

I'm more of a Napolese style pizza guy personally. I even went to Naples mostly just for the pizza once, and it was pretty fabulous. I also very much like Red's Savoy in St Paul for a local pizza that's kind of its own style.

I was a fan of the garlic butter on the crust. I also like that they have feta cheese and grilled chicken as pizza toppings.

Also, it's hard to beat Hungry Howie's sesame seed crust.

Sesame seed crust on a pizza sounds pretty damn good. There's a place nearby called Dylan's that has a pizza called tour of italy that is pretty bitching. Has sausage, mushrooms, sliced meatballs, onion, pepperoni, roasted peppers, crushed red pepper, olives, romano, buffalo mozzarella and tomato sauce.

Probably my favorite pizza ever but it's like $13 for a small.

Hungry Howies all the way. Flavored crust is where its at.

Brilliant marketing by Domino’s ad agency.

I’ve always liked Dominos in a pinch. But there is so much better local pizza around.

The new pizzas are now way to greasy. The garlic sauce they had just oozed off of it.

I prefer the old crust over dealing with oily slop running down my hands.

I guess, and you get a lot more of it too, as you can just go ahead and eat the box as you can't tell the difference anyway.

I hadn't heard they changed their recipe. Pizza in NoVA is decent, but not great; I think the best around here is probably a Californian chain called zPizza or a Maryland/VA chain called Ledo's.

I'll have to check out the new Domino's. I've never been a fan of them in the US, but for whatever reason, the Domino's in Greece was fantastic.

Ah Marion's. Some of the best pizza there is, and I'm usually not a fan of thin crust. Always have to go there when I'm in the area.

The single best pizza joint in the entire world is in Brockton, Massachusetts.

If you ever get the opportunity, go to the Cape Cod Cafe there. ANY pizza there is delicious beyond all words.

You've obviously never had pizza in Buffalo. Or anywhere outside of MA, for that matter.

Meh, I don't enjoy chain pizza but when I have to, I'm afraid that my favorite is Mr. Gatti's. Which is, unfortunately, not to be found much outside of Texas. So I make do with Pizza Hut. There's a more than passable NY-style pizzeria attached to a theater/concert venue downtown in Denver called the Marquis that I like the best here.

Best pizza I've ever had was in Lowell, Massachusetts, though. Little local place I don't even remember the name of, just right there on the main street across from the Barnes & Noble. Mmm. I wish they delivered to the other side of the country.

I've had pizza in about 25 of the fifty states of the country.

Cape Cod Cafe still tops them all.

Though Parker's Pizza (INORITE) in Reno was good too.

There is no great pizza in my part of Western MA.

Good yes, just not great.

Le sigh.

Guinneaville?

And for Pizza in Boston...seriously. Get in your car, drive to Brockton. 40 minutes tops without major traffic.

Wish I was up that way to buy you a pie. Honestly well worth the trip.

The reason why I asked about Boston is because I commute there for school.

Where the hell do they get off calling their place "Cape Cod Cafe" if their in Brockton?

I honestly have no idea.

They've been around since my father was a kid, though, and that was at least two centuries ago.

They also have another location in Raynham now, I think.
