The keen has spellburst. I never had a problem in Wyneb, but I made the mistake of rubbing a ruby amulet in the keen once...

wyneb and keen both have burst, Tower doesn't

Keen has it. Wyneb has it. Tower has its own version where certain spells (Mobils, for one) will just melt off with no damage.

Isn't the tower spellburst JUST mobiles? I forget if it's anything else, but it's the easiest to deal with of all the spellburst effects.

I think it strips other things, too - Heroism and opals and such, maybe?

It strips more than just mobiles. It has some wacky formula at play. Seems to target higher level spells, but not always.
