I dunno... USF football has been a pretty decent topic in NCAAF the past 5 or so years. Add that to the fact that a few PC notables keep up with them... not a bad topic, I wouldn't think.

USF has the second winningest record in the state of Florida out of D-1 teams since their entrance into NCAA football. They also have their first meeting with UF next year. They also sold out every home game for the past three years. I'd like to see them do well, but not too good.

USF wasn't shit before this guy. I was thinking it was a Bob Knight situation initially, but everyone publicly seems to be saying it was no big deal or didn't happen at all? Puzzling.
As for the real reason Rhett cares about this story - Tommy Tuberville!!!

On the bright side Sean wont have to pay for tickets to USF anymore. They won't even be able to give them away.

Tuberville interviewed with Tech. So have a few other people.
Word is Tubs would be interested in USF as well. He did assistant coach for a while at Miami, so prob has decent connects there.

Wasn't shit? He started the damn program, lol. This is is one of those cases where "was shit" and "wasn't shit" actually mean the same thing. Profanity profanes the language, what can I say.

Because Leavitt is the only human being on the planet that can run USF Football?
Leavitt was a piece of shit imo. Good football coach.. but not an ethical type of person.

Unless you catch lightning in a bottle with a young up and coming coach looking for a stepping stone job.
The recruiting area is rough since you only get what's left after UF, FSU, Miami, Alabama, UGA, Auburn, and probably somebody I'm forgetting pick over the top recruits. Florida is a strong area but it's not THAT strong.
So you have to do more with less.
