a set of bronze leaf-plated armor - 6X, HCP - 38 lbs - Full Plate

Show: Lightened steel plates have been forged into the shapes of stylized leaves, enameled in various shades of bronze, backed in silencing doeskin, and then bound over mail. The breastplate has been etched with a wild rose cradled in thorny vines, dramatically enhanced by the contrast of the glistening silvery metal beneath. A fauld of overlapping platelets flares from the hips, falling to mid-thigh, while several tertiary hawk feathers dangle from rings along the edges of each pauldron. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.

some ancient spiked elven plate armor accented with mithril mesh gussets - 7X, HCP - 44 lbs - Spiked - Full Plate - SOLD

CB: SOLD

some glossy black vultite plate covered with an erratic lightning pattern in red glaes - 6X, MCP - 23 lbs - Sanctified - Lightning resistance - Full Plate
Show: Scribed onto the battle-armor is an identifying marking: a chalice and skull outlined in silver. You see nothing unusual, except for a small enchanter's glyph.
The harmonics generated tell you that the plate serves to reduce the severity of inflicted wounds and has been sanctified for use by a Cleric or Paladin in the fight against the undead.
As your song penetrates the black vultite plate, you determine that it is moderately vulnerable to slashing attacks and very resistant to shocking attacks.
Examining the plate closely, it looks like it is masterfully padded against critical blows.

You don't say what type of armour this is (or anything else but this is the most ambiguous).

AKOE!

MCP plate... wonder what that'll go for. Pricey set.

I remember that sold sometime last year for like $1200, or somewhere in that range.

fucking awesome brig. I still have meager GS wealth however. Something to work towards I suppose.

god, plain 8x brig used to be 15m... add in a negligible amount of padding and it's 40m? Seems crazy. Armor market has gone through the roof.

How much does it cost to add DCP through points?

Well, it costs the same with pp's to add any level of padding up to heavy, so I don't imagine anyone would choose to do less than that. And I think 8x would be 5500 to pad if I remember correctly?

Incorrect...

You could add LESS for less points.

Cost is ((2 * level padding) + enchant) * 100).

Maximal is heavy (10).

Example: Padding 4x armor is 4000 points (2x10)=20 + 20 = 40 x 100 = 4000

Padding to somewhat (5) would be (2 x 5) = 10 + 20 = 30 x 100 = 3000

I don't know why you'd bother, but you could.
