So windows 7 decided it would force restart my computer. Psinet crashed when this happened and wouldn't work. I uninstalled and went to reinstall. It is saying that there is a version of psinet on my computer somewhere. I've had this computer for 2 days, so that isn't possible.

I deleted the psinet registry and I still get this same message. Where else in the registry should I be looking for psinet files so that it will think that I don't have psinet?

I've had similar problems before, not using Windows 7 though, and the Windows Installer Clean Up Utility worked for me.

EDIT: Corrected name of the utility, also looked like there was a Win7 version while I was getting the name

If that doesn't work and you aren't getting a prompt answer from someone who actually knows, download sysinternals registrymon program and see what registry entries psinet is attempting to read when it fails.
