New site done by Naos. Works 10x better than Virilneus.com does. (At least for me)
I ran a few search tests and Virilneus.com couldn't find what I was looking for, came right up on the new site.

Meanwhile, I couldn't find the maul in my shop on the search. Its still in beta, but working 10x better, dunno about that.
We'll see how it goes, be nice to have both.

First of all, assuming "Naos" is equivalent to "GM-Naos", I think that's ridiculous that he would spend his time working on some player site when he is SUPPOSED TO BE CODING AND RELEASE THE GOD DAMN ELEMENTAL LORE UPDATE THAT WAS DUE OUT BEGINNING OF 2009.

Aren't you the same guy who kept fucking with Hadlir during the 635 event by killing his NPC, delaying the storyline?

It's the same guy.
The people you think you're paying, this is their hobby. The people you're actually paying, they don't care.

You know who I am. I play Jenovadeath.
No, I didn't delay any storylines to my knowledge.

While the site on Krakiipedia has potential I'm not seeing how it's 10x better for you or anyone. I agree with Paul it would be great to have both sites up and running.

Not fully defending it or anything, but just to make a note that sometimes a brain-break is really needed, and if Naos' skills are such that building a player shops database is actually EASY for him...yeah, it's possible that he'd have it up before the Lore update.
I didn't try searching, but the general browsing is kinda nice; I just have to use an IE tab instead of Firefox to see some of the items with longer descriptions, as the end of one item got cut off in Firefox and using IE was the only way to see the full item.

GM Naos is the one that hosts krakiipedia.org from what I understand. So it would, I imagine, be pretty easy for him to do what he has for the shop part of it. It's probably also a way for him to work on something from time to time without getting burned out on working on just the lore review and leaving before it is finished. Too many GM's have left because they got burned out working on that ONE PROJECT for a long time.

GS needs to make Warriors not suck and roll back the ambush changes to how they were in GSIII so fighters can at least do shit.
What was this thread about?

You could always just ask Paul how often he got burned out on coding. I'm sure it's not easy to do any of the coding, especially when the little things make it not work out the way you want. It can definitely become frustrating and time consuming. (Each of us should know and understand that no matter what, we all have lives and sometimes life interferes with having those deadlines completed.) For those of you that know anything at all about coding, I'm certain you know exactly what I'm talking about. Regardless, you can still have both shop sites. No where is it said that Viril has to drop his site at all.
I'm not trying to defend anyone, just stating obvious facts. There have been many posts on deadlines not being met and I agree that if you're going to set a time frame, at least get within 30 days of it...If you can't, then let your players know that there's no ETA... or... just don't mention it and allow it to be a surprise when it's finally complete (released) rather than putting hope in everyone's mind.

The funny thing is that I'd just started working on something too. Wanted to learn Ruby on Rails - which is badass by the way.
