They haven't deserved to win their last 3 games.

And the fucking Steelers...jesus christ.

Sean of the Thread

Bwhahahahahahahahaha.

Oh and how did they get fucked over in regulation not that it matters since it came down to a wide right duck but I'm curious if I missed a no call or something?

Not that there wasn't a shit load of no calls on both sides. I thought the officiating was shit.

RichardCranium
12-27-2009, 04:51 PM
The bullshit spot on the third down pass to Meachem and the missed offsides call on the punt that ended up being a flase start. Back to back plays.

NocturnalRob
12-27-2009, 05:51 PM
eh, if you can't make a 37-yard FG to win, thhen you don't deserve to (please to see the Redskins).

You guys just can't sleep on the Bucs, even if they suck. At any given point, Josh Freeman can (and will) put it all together and they'll be a solid 11-5 team.

Best depth at HB in the game today, a young stable of viable receivers, and an O-line that puts most to shame on a good day. Not bad at all!

If only they had Ronde Barber back at age 26!

NocturnalRob

Exactly what everyone who picked the Jets probably thought they were going to do. They're resting Manning since they have nothing to gain.

just NFL records and avoiding the embarrassment of losing to the fucking Jets

resting people is one thing, how many fansand of course gamblers are pissed at the Colts coaches for tanking one

Sean of the Thread
12-27-2009, 09:23 PM
I don't think many pro gamblers would have touched that -4 point line on the colts. It would be a no play for anyone but the fans/public.

Also agree that the Bucs record doesn't shine well but they're a good team and watch out in the near future once again.

Morris will be out next year I'm sure. Freeman who knows what's going on but he's only going to get better. Sometimes he looks like a super star but he really needs to learn to throw the fucking ball out of bounds.

Cohwer might be the coach for the Bucs next year if you ask me and I would be very happy with that.

Hahaha this made my day, and took away the sting of losing in the finals of the fantasy league.

They don't have the balls to try and be the best ever. Even if they win it all, they'll be just another 18-1 team...

resting people is one thing, how many fansand of course gamblers are pissed at the Colts coaches for tanking one I knew they were going to do this. I still had to pick them to win but holy fuck I was so pissed watching that game.

I'd be more pissed if I was one of the teams still in the hunt that actually has to work for their spot and the Jets are just being handed a damn win.

With 21 people out injured and then you pull most of your starters on offense and defense you've got to put in water boys, cheerleaders, and random drunks from the stands, Jets got to eat that shit up.

I did want to see Painter (QB that went in for Manning) get eaten alive though because he graduated from Purdue and Purdue can eat a penis.

I expected people to sit, but not after the jets had a damned lead, lose the air of superiority and anyone will think they can kick your ass, look at that lovely example the saints gave us yesterday.Bucs shouldnt win one game in a thousand against the Saints yet did so in about perfect fashion by controlling the scoreand staying close til the end.

Tedy Bruschi actually just wrote an obnoxious article on ESPN about why the Colts shouldn't have sat yesterday, thus confirming my secret belief that he's a douche as well, and that douche-itude amongst the Patriots is a rampant, contagious disease.

This is the guy who said Bill Bellicheck was right on that 4th down call from their own side of the field to lose the game. He's nothing but a hack and Pats apologist.

As a former defender on that team, I would've cared less about the result of that fourth-down attempt. The decision to go for it would be enough to make my blood boil for weeks. Bill Belichick sent a message to his defense. He felt that his chances were better to go for it on his own 28-yard line than to punt it away and make Peyton Manning have to drive the majority of the field to win the game.

I would look at this decision as a lack of confidence in our ability as a defensive unit to come up with a big play to win the game. If I'm Jerod Mayo, Gary Guyton, Darius Butler, Jonathan Wilhite, Brandon Meriweather and Brandon McGowan -- to name a few -- I'm wondering why we weren't given the chance to do what we've been coached to do ever since the first day we practiced.

They don't have the balls to try and be the best ever. Even if they win it all, they'll be just another 18-1 team...They would be only the 3rd champion to go 18-1, joining the 1984 49ers and the 1985 Bears - pretty good company.

Company is the operative word. They had a great shot to be perhaps indisputably the best team ever, and they backed away from it. I could understand if they hadn't won a Super Bowl already, but they did three years ago. 20 years from now no one will care whether the Colts won one or two Super Bowls. But the chance to be the best ever? I know deep down Manning is fuming about it.
