is it common for migration times to jump like crazy?

I had 45 mins left on a migration (been migrating down from 18 days)

so I left my guy at a table and headed to work.
I check it at lunch and it is saying I have 15 hours left...

is this normal?

I don't recall the exact numbers, but you are only allowed a set number of points to migrate at the 'fast' speed, and the rest will migrate at the 'slow' speed until the 30 day cycle has completed, at which point it all resets back to the fast speed again.

I thought the fast speed was a set amount of pts OR like 5-10 days or something?

regardless I should be well past my fast speed for this 30 days as I only have 10 days left.

I am working on my 3rd month of migration btw
