But it has to be slightly older. Half of my memory died.

I've recently played Sid Meier's Pirates.
Port Royale
Port Royale 2
Jagged Alliance 2 (it sucks)
GTA San Andreas
Hearts of Iron I and II
X-COM

I have Space Empires V and Dangerous Waters but not in the mood.

Any suggestions? Prefer strategy games but don't mind FPS. I still play BF2 all the time.

Alcohol abuse finally catching up to you, eh?

You've got X-COM, that's good... but you don't have 2 and 3 listed. I'm assuming you included them and it's just a given. (three being better than 2 though)

Lords of the Realm is a good one, might I also suggest getting a MAME or SNES emulator and going to town, plenty of shit to keep you busy there.

... looking for games at 10:40am, how's that QVC job going? Still have that?

Torchlight should still be 50% off on Steam. It's so well optimized it'll run on pretty much everything if you turn the settings down.

Heroes of Might and Magic 3 too!

I've got the Heroes series and Lords of the realm... that may be worth installing again. Fun game.

I've never played X-COM 3 I'll look into that.

No I don't work for HSN anymore. Not that it matters because I wasn't getting hours they over hired for the season expecting it to be busy. Getting up every morning at 7am just to work for 2 hours a day sucked balls. (And I was going to have to quit anyways since my roommate is moving up north and I wasn't going to take a 2 hour bus ride (and 4 transfers) to campus everyday for 2 hours)

I'll be going back to college next semester. I have an interview with THE SHACK! rofl the first week in January. Should be a good part time job during school and it's within walking distance.

SO awesome is Sid Meier's Pirates.

Belnia, as you are equally awesome for the HOMM3 recommendation. My friends and I can still murder whole days on maps.

I play Tom Clancy anything but that's just me. So much customization.

Man the tom clancy FPS games were awesome. I wish I still had them and I doubt downloading them is going to let me play multiplayer.

***Oh your avatar reminded me that I saw the new Cobra Commander action figure at like big lots yesterday. How the fuck did they ruin CC? Damn. Thank goodness I've never seen the movie.

I strongly urge you to play this game Sean.

And for once I'm not joking.

It is fun... and addicting if you play with other people.

Dragon Age (it is best on PC IMO). It may take a bit of time to get into it, but once you do you will have a 100+ hour game on your hands if you want to get 100% completion.

That would require him actually being an adult. At this point, Sean can't even be bothered attempting to try for longer than two seconds.

if he can run it I'd agree... but judging by the games that were listed I don't think he'd be able to.

Yeah this computer is almost 5 years old I think now. It's running on a really shitty power supply I took from a 10 year old computer too. Poor thing.

I had to slap two 512 sticks in because my 1 gig sticks fucked up not long ago and it's been hurting bad since that.

Galactic Civilizations II is a good game with good expansions that doesn't take a beast of a computer to run.

It's sort of like Civilization, in Space, or if you remember it, Master of Orion without all the micromanagement.

I've got gal civ 1 and 2 and I played them to death.

Dragon's Age would be pushing it on my computer but it might work.

Hahahaha, you don't want to work at GameStop. I managed through two holiday seasons there and it is the epitome of Retail Hell. Also, the pay is fucking horrible, even for managers.

EDIT: Oh yeah. Install Baldur's Gate. That should cover all your free time.

Speaking of Baldur's gate ... Fallout 1 & 2 are great time sinks (obviously I'd suggest 3, but it'd be in the same 'not sure if your computer could handle it' school)

Sean of the Thread
12-22-2009, 04:08 PM
Played them all :(

Although Baldur's gate might be worth reinstalling.

Shit I may just install Gal Civ or Civ III again. I've got about 5 days to kill.

Ooooo I could install Kotor again.

Kohan is an old fantasy RTS that killed about half my summer ages ago.

Sean of the Thread

Kohan looks fun.

I did however just spend about 10 minutes looking for my copy of Homeworld. That was fun too.

I want some multiplayer action of almost anything. Feeling competitive and I'm sick of ruling at BF2.
