Changing Societies?

Hoping someone could help me with a couple of quick questions. I was thinking about leaving CoL to join Sunfist. First, how does one resign from CoL? And second, if it turns out I don't like Sunfist, can I then use my society reset to clean the slate and rejoin CoL? Thanks.

you still have to engage yourself, and I also did this and haven't looked back, GoS is better, only thing you'll miss is wracking and not for long
