I had a Grimswarm shaman I needed to kill. I'd wiped out everything else in the camp, but this thing was immune to everything. It had a DS of at least 550, even when it didn't have Wall of Force up, its CS was 440ish, its TD was way beyond what I can touch as a moderately magical ranger, it was mostly immune to my spikethorn and healed the damage from it immediately, my vines couldn't grab it, my fire arrows couldn't even plink it to do enough damage, my dispells drained me of mana before I had it down far enough to hurt, etc, etc.
This is what it took to kill it, after some creative thinking:

In the center of the warcamp is a wide area bordered by the many ragged tents and huts of the Grimswarm. A towering wooden flagpole is situated at the north end of the assembly area and is flanked by a series of iron spikes driven into the ground, topped with sun-bleached skulls. Lying so much like a forgotten rag doll, a body has been discarded in the middle of the open space, its limbs sprawled and twisted at unnatural angles. You also see a Grimswarm troll shaman.
