Can anyone recommend a site or program that will allow me to rip video and/or mp3 audio from YouTube? I've tried one or two sites that didn't seem to work.

Once I have the file in a .flv format, what do I do with it? My comp won't recognize the file.
Sorry, my computer knowledge isn't very technical.
EDIT: Also, I'd really like to be able to just rip the mp3 from some vids, if anyone knows how to do that.

Either google "how to play a flv" file or dl it in quicktime format, that's what I do.

I normally hate Realplayer, but if you don't find anything else, you can use it to download Youtube videos and then convert it to 128 kbps mp3 files.
Last resort, I suppose.

Replay Music (http://applian.com/replay-music/). Last time I used the Free Trial, you got 25 recordings. Once you buy it, it's yours. You can use it for mp3 files from any site that streams audio (it doesn't do anything with video, but it looks like you want the audio more anyway).
