Satellite Broadband & GSIV

Anyone out there play on a satellite connection? Curious about others experiences and how they coped with the lag from travel time?

Dialup in my opinion is better than the Flakey Nature of Satellite Broadband.

If your only option is to use Satellite... get a laptop and find a cafe with free high speed internet.. problem solved.

I don't even know how you could play on that kind of connection.. Isn't like 1 second ping the best you can hope for ?

And what if it rains or something? heh!

Dialup would be so much better in this case. Or hell, even an air-card or whatever it is people use to get "wifi" anywhere. My brother has one of those for his company laptop.

Maybe sucks for regular Internet after you get used to it, but for a text game I am guessing it will not be that bad as long as ping times are good.
