does it come with an alter scroll?

m444w

No. Alters are easy enough to get, and I have better things to spend my PPs on, especially at this price.

man, considering what people have been paying for that axe that's an absolute steal.

IMO those are the best flares in the game. If I had an OHE user I would pick this up.

Which flares is it on this though, rods, or spikes... or I forget what the third kind is?

m444w

slashes, which are blades or something.

5 mill going twice. I don't feel like dragging this out over days, so if you want it bid now.

Can you please post the show to confirm that these are in fact spike flares?

it seems I and my notes were wrong. Having not used it myself in a long time. It is slash flares. I just checked the "absolutely perfect" line which indicates permanent, not the others. Quite sorry about that. Guess I should learn to check stuff these days and not take it for granted in my notes!

You swing a rhimar-edged vultite francisca at a hill troll!
AS: +238 vs DS: +115 with AvD: +35 + d100 roll: +2 = +160
... and hit for 16 points of damage!
Quick slash to the hill troll's upper left arm!
Just a nick.

** The small spring-loaded blades attached to your francisca suddenly shoot out with incredible force! **
... 10 points of damage!
Slash to the hill troll's shield arm!
Shears off a thin layer of skin!
Roundtime: 5 sec.

You swing a rhimar-edged vultite francisca at a hill troll!
AS: +238 vs DS: +112 with AvD: +34 + d100 roll: +6 = +166
... and hit for 23 points of damage!
Strike dents the hill troll's larynx.
Swallowing will be fun.
The hill troll is stunned!

** The small spring-loaded blades attached to your francisca suddenly shoot out with incredible force! **
... 30 points of damage!
Deep slash to the hill troll's neck severs an artery!
The hill troll chokes to death on his own blood.
The hill troll falls to the ground and dies.
The deep blue glow leaves a hill troll.
Roundtime: 6 sec.

that's kinda neat though, heh.

I would think slash would be better for a handaxe over puncture (aiming for the head/neck).

That's correct, certain types of flares match better to certain types.

I've never dealt with rods, but I have a 6.5x imflass dagger with perm spike flares. Absolutely nuts when shotting the head/eye area.

This handaxe is about the best you'll get. Good price. If I was still using my spike items, I'd definitely bid.

Damn I'm jealous of that dagger.
In the leather wrist sheath you see a large rolaren survival knife.

Darkened krodera accents the rigid criss-cross handiwork of the sturdy hilt, which also provides subtle rounded finger-notches for an excellent grip. The seamlessly attached krodera guard offers a choil for the index finger as the krodera continues to trace along the fat, curved matte black rolaren blade. The word "FORERUNNER" is stamped boldly in krodera along the spine. Two slender metal blades are attached to the handle of the knife. They are angled so that they lie parallel to one another, against the length of the weapon. Tightly coiled steel springs are clearly visible beneath the blades. The springs appear to be in absolutely perfect condition. You also notice a small enchanter's mark.

That is pretty nice, I would probably roll up a character for TWC if I could get 2 perm mech flaring items. This handaxe with your dagger would be a great time with TWC ambushing.

Those are slash flares, right? The appeal of puncture flares on a dagger is the second chance for a puncture death crit to the eye.

You swing a large rolaren survival knife at a hill troll!
AS: +448 vs DS: +93 with AvD: -6 + d100 roll: +35 = +384
... and hit for 26 points of damage!
Well aimed shot almost removes an eye!
The hill troll is stunned!

** The small spring-loaded blades attached to your knife suddenly shoot out with incredible force! **
... 20 points of damage!
Upward slash gouges the hill troll's cheek!
Left eye lost!
Pity.
Roundtime: 3 sec.
