SAlert errors

I've been trying to set up salert. I've tried using three different addresses. I'd like help if someone has any ideas, please.

The errors are as follows:


Yahoo:
-- A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond. - connect(2)

AOL:

ISP (Suddenlink):

Sounds to me like you have a setting incorrect.

How do I figure out which?

Here's what I've got for AOL:

Server smtp.aol.com
Port nil
From screenname@aol.com
From Anne
Auth type none
Login screenname
Pass Nunya

Default Address ##########@mms.uscc.net

Any ideas?

Port is probably 25
Auth type is probably plain or login
