quick question, how many MIU ranks to activate?

MIU has too many variables for me to guess:

Modifiers = (MIU Skill bonus) + (Activator Skill Modifier) + (Stat Modifier)
+ (Magical Knowledge Bonus) + (INTUITION bonus) + (LOGIC bonus)
- (Spell Level * 5) - (Armor Penalty) - (Encumbrance Penalty)

But, since it is a level 15 spell I would guess a minimum of 15.

The prickly porcupine pendants are mobility, not heroism. They were sold at the same merchant (I think a Spitfire) as the mangled steel spoons, which are heriosm. I have a bunch.
