I don't think this card is too bad.. You have a lightweight title fight, a Heavyweight fight between two top-5 guys, and a welterweight fight involving the #2 welterweight (imo)...

Plus Guida almost always puts on good fights.. It's not the best card, but it's hardly terrible.

Diego's fight against Joe Stephenson makes me really question him at 155... I was not impressed by that. Penn destroyed Joe "Daddy"

This card is bad. And once you watch the fights, you'll agree. The only good fight to come out of this will be Penn/Sanchez.

And Guida doesn't put on "good" fights. He puts on long fights. Just because they're long doesn't make them good. He has spectacular cardio and is a technical whiz. But the blanket technique does not make for a "good" fight by anyone's definition.

And Mir is fucking massive. Dude put on 35 pounds. He's totally looking past Kongo. Which...is fine by me. Just don't get caught.

The first fight albeit between non-contenders was pretty exciting and had some good exchanges..

The Florian/Guida fight was exciting and didn't go to decision

The Fitch fight went to decision (as expected) but wasn't boring..

Mir showed that he's a beast and finished another top opponent in a unprecedented fashion (first to submit Kongo, and first to KO Noguiera)

That undercard fight they just showed was pretty badass.. I think Alan Belcher will be a contender soon.

and Now hopefully BJ Penn will finish it off with a destruction of this fucking annoying weirdo.

Buentello/Struve was slow and boring.
Florian/Guida was pretty standard for a KFlo fight, and I was disappointed that Guida didn't last longer.
Fitch/Pierce was boring as fuck. The first 2 rounds were action-less, and it wasn't until the last 2 minutes of the third round that anything happened.
Mir/Kongo...standard. Mir is not a beast, and the fact that you think Kongo is a "top opponent" shows how messed up your standards are. Kongo isn't even top 10 heavyweights. Probably not even top 15.
Belcher/Gouveia--> wasn't even going to be on the broadcast, but this was an exciting fight. Just an all out brawl. Good fight.

One heck of a cut, had to be 2" long and damn near a quarter inch wide in the middle. Nasty. The only thing good I'll say about Sanchez was that he took one hell of a beating early and late and didn't drop when it looked like he was going to. Hell I thought the fight was going to end in 30 seconds, then it dang near went the distance until he took that cut. That's a 12 stitcher.
