I'm having an issue with one character when attempting to log into the game using Lich (via SGE). I ran the install from the Game Entry tab (on Lich) and it works perfectly for all of my characters but one. Even other characters on the account can log in.
With this particular character, I get through to the point where Lich starts, and the 'Welcome to Gemstone' messages appear, however the handshaking process goes all the way through the brute force method and fails. I can even see the room events (people entering/leaving, NPC actions) occuring while the handshaking process is going on.
I don't see any room description data come up though. Also, I can get in through Stormfront with no problems, it's just Wizard that's causing an issue.
I don't have Psinet installed, and I've tried reinstalling Ruby and it didn't help.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
