It's a total train wreck. I make fun of my girlfriend anytime she watches MTV but this shit is just straight ridiculous.

hahah...no, absolutely not. It's a new reality show on MTV (a channel which apparently no longer plays music videos, so now I definitely know I'm old) about...the Jersey Shore. I'm assuming it's like The Hills and the other teen-based shows they run?

They basically ripped off another show that was supposed to appear on A&E or Bravo called Guido Beach. I'm pretty laissez-faire when it comes to TV content and what is deemed "permissible," but any show that promotes that kind of shit to a HUGE audience of teens and pre-teens is fucking messed up.

Those definitions are close to the definition of the common law civil tort claims, but these are criminal statutes. In NJ, the crime of simple assault seems to encompass both. Jail time can be imposed, but doesn't have to be.

This is so damned funny. Reminds me of my mother walking in to me playing GTA and was out of breath because I was beating a hooker with a bat. Ten minutes later into the game she was like "go beat that bitch and steal her money".

I've never heard my mother cuss directly in my presence. It was a giggle moment.
