View Full Version : Need help getting Lich to install

I just started playing again and it seems like Lich is a necessary program now, but I can't get it to work. When I do "Install to Registry" I get:

"unable to find LauncherPath string in win.ini" then

"open: Permission denied
Modification of system registry successful." (but when I launch the game, the Lich commands don't work) then

"Note: registry value '"C:\Program Files\Lich\Lich.exe" %1" contains the substring 'lich', will not overwrite saved key value with a self-modified key value.
Modification of system registry successful." (but again, launching the game gives me nothing.)

I looked in the FAQs and tried making the game.txt file, but that didn't do anything either, so I decided to try to see if I could get help from the easiest option instead. Can anyone help? (I'm using Windows XP, fyi.)

Once you go lich, you will never go back.

In lich, you don't play GS, GS plays itself.
