shield\brawling?

hmm so anyone have any thoughts on this? if you could 1x one before the other which one would it be?

Shield first. DS gained from brawling is nice, but not nearly as substancial. Wizards because of 911 should use a buckler.

911 doesn't get a known circle bonus, it's a flat 20 ranks of dodge. With moderate shield use training the advantage of the lesser penalty to dodge with smaller shields quickly gets trumped by the advantage of a larger shield (I don't know the cutoffs, just saying it's not that clearcut).

I've found medium shields to be best.

Just like Fallen said, shield first then brawling. My wizard is 1x shield and will tackle brawl after I finish up 3x spells and such.
