I'm posting here because I want to know if anyone has heard any kind of reason, that maybe I missed, on why the armor penalty was changed?

It is definitely a bug. I had posted a table with the increased MB armor penalties on the officials a while back and asked if it was an intended change. The GM response, relayed through Emeradan, was that it was unintended but that there was no obvious fix and unless the fix became apparent there was not much that would be done to remedy it.

You might want to bug it again just to remind them that it is still there.

I couldn't find the thread, or remember who was involved in it, or even if there WAS a response.

I was checking out something else in the formula the other day and noticed it's still using the higher armor penalty.

Only took me complaining about it going unanswered when a GM said to take a discussion to the Voln folder (the proper location).
