Are 2 or 3 days old here.

Those crap are REALLY good.

I'm glad that most dunkin' donuts will close now, man, we HAVE FRESH GOOD DONUTS!

Myshel

when that red sign is flashing (meaning they are coming out of the fryer) I'm there.

Some of you laugh at some of us (mostly ontario's people) with our Tim Horton. It is good, sandwiches and all, but still... hmm, too normal, too home-like food.

Dunkin donuts has a VERY bad reputation. Old people and poor one go there for cheap food and fill the whole restaurant with their cigarette's smoke.

Krispy kremes just opened and I think that it will open up more invasion from the us as we're very receptible.

I'll eat one for your health, my happy friend.

Krispy Kreme makes delicious doughnuts! They have been available in the Southeast for a long time, since they began in Winston-Salem, NC. It is great that they are expanding so everyone gets a chance at them. :D

Really really bad. I had one once and had no idea why people liked them.

When you eat crap from dunkin' donuts, and most bad sweets from places like that, you welcome freshness with open arms.

That's why pizza hut was good here, but some people prefer cheaper crap.. booh

They're good, but not when they're all warm and gooey. Gross. I'll eat my (considerably cheaper) vomit if I want that kind of texture, thx.

We're considering pizza hut good and fresh? my dad makes fresh pizza, donuts, and cinnabuns. I'll get some homemade if I want to fatten my thighs!

Krispy Kremes are delicious.. I'm glad none are too close to me, or else I'd weigh 300lbs. Dunkin Donuts aren't that bad around here X.. and people can't smoke inside anywhere around here if that's why you dislike them.

News for you, X......95% of Pizza Hut's import their crusts. Premade not fresh bread. Only eateries and custom stores use fresh dough to make their pizza.

Krispy Kreme rule, especially if you put them in the micro for a couple of seconds, with a cold glass of milk.

I'll pass. Dunkin Donuts are bigger. And... why do Krispy glaze their chocolate frosted donuts? It's not sweet enough?

Xcalibur

Dunkin donuts, here, is synonym of bad quality.

In general.

Tim horton is more expensive, but really better

And now krispy kream are "top" sweetness (concerning donuts, of course)

I must say that I was disapointed at first, because it was cold, hehehe

Never ate taco bells, that's good too?:)

All restaurants are Taco Bell.

OK I talked to X yesterday and confessed to him that I've never eaten a Krispy Kreme donut.

There's only DD's around my area. The only Krispy Kreme is around Boston I think and there's no way in Hell I'd drive into Boston for a friggin' donut! But since I'm moving up towards Cohasset next month, I'm sure they have one up there. I'll try it out for the first time. OMG, I am a virgin to Krispy Kreme! :D:thumbsup:

Krispy Kream rules. And I'm with Myshel, when it's flashing meaning they are just coming out of the fryer I'm in it to win it.

Are they bad for you? Sure but everything is these days. Moderation is a word that needs to be applied to most things and life and it has the ability to negate the evils that plague us.

Eat one or two? Good for you.

Eat a box and I'll see you at doughnut detox.

People just need to learn to stop when they are ahead.

And yes, X, Taco Bell is good. It's not real Mexican food by any stretch of the imagination but it is still good for what it is.

They really are much better than Dunkin Donuts.

Xcalibur

I'm tired of KFC and crap like that, we want qualities now!
hehe

Quality fast food, even...

I think Krispy kream are less fat than most donuts in general, as the stuff in it are of better qualities, or so I heard...

There's a Krispy Kreme Factory here in Northern VA (Alexandria). Gotta go to the source to get em nice and gooey like Latin likes em.

I have never had a Krispy Kreme donut. Or anything from there.

<-- is now sad.

Dunkin' Donuts rots your mind and makes you think donut is spelled correctly.

Although Krispy Kreme doesn't help, either.

Looks like I won't be eating doughnuts.

pizza hut isn't real pizza. if you goto a pizzeria and it isn't prefaced with "vito's" or "vinnie's" or something of that sort, chances are its not going to be very good. also if its not in like north jersey, nyc, or boston its going to suck too.

We have our specialists here, you can pay up to 60 bucks for a pizza.

I was talking in general, more of "fast" food.

Edaarin

$60 for a pizza? That's how much in US dollars?

I don't see what the big deal about Krispy Kreme is, I can't eat more than 2 without feeling sick from too much sugar. Makes my teeth hurt just thinking about it.

TheEschaton

60 bucks for a pizza in Canadian is still like $45 American.

Anyone who would pay $45, specialty, or not, is a fucking retard.

Oh, and you can thank G.W. for that exchange rate. Before he came to office, that $60 would of only been $30 U.S. ;)

I don't think I've ever ate any pizza I'd be willing to pay that much for.

Now speaking of fast food pizza places. I got two words for you.

CHICKEN KICKERS

tru dat.

CrystalTears

Er.. we're talking about pizza right? Dough, sauce, cheese, perhaps some meat and/or veggies? $45? Can we say "crackhead", boys and girls?!

When we were helping my brother move into Yale during his first year, we ate at some restaurant (Hot Tomato's? I think? Or something), and the only thing I remember about it was one of the appetizers was asparagus, and it was $8.95.

Conclusion: rich people are insane and pay anything as long as it looks good..

I wonder if Canada has a Value Added Tax on restaurant food. That might explain the high cost.

I would send them, Caiy, but by the time they got there they would be more like pet rocks than doughnuts. ;)

Never tried Krispy creme (although, once again, I voted randomly because I like to feel a part of things). I know, I know...I need to get out more.

How can anyone NOT like krispy kream?

Xcalibur

We have sales and services tax and the provincial tax. 15% on all stuff beside grocery and some vital stuff.

You buy a car, you pay 15% of taxes

You buy a dildo, you pay 15% of taxes

You go to restaurant, you pay 15% of taxes.

TheE, before Bush, it was 50% more, not 100%...

We were worth .66 which made a 100 bucks in the us worth 150 here, not 200.

I know it's expensive for a pizza, we have our five stars restaurant here that are at least 2 times the cost, so it's nothing. (I'm sure most towns got them anyway)

i remember halloween
03-14-2004, 11:34 AM
but saying 100% makes bush sound worse so lets just stick with that ok?

TheEschaton
03-14-2004, 11:48 AM
I lived in Buffalo, we went to Canada a lot.

Before Bush, $1 US was worth about 1.50.

Now, you can get Canadian at par at some places, most won't give you more than 1.20 for your U.S. dollar.

Glazing chocolate doughnuts is a stroke of brilliance. Mmmmmmmmm sugary.
