>get sack
You are unable to handle the additional load a glimmering grey sack would add.
>l in sack
In the grey sack you see a heavy gornar slab (x10) and a heavy zorchar slab (x5).
>get slab from sack
You will have to take the sack out of the wardrobe to do that.

A few minutes go by ...

>rub crys
You rub the white crystal in your hand.
Calculating duration based on: Rub
Strength (509) starts for 10m. [+15Str, +15PhysAS]
You feel much stronger.
Cast Roundtime 3 Seconds.

I take off all of my gear except for my lightened armor and ...

>get sack
You are unable to handle the additional load a glimmering grey sack would add.

Looks like I'll be rerolling as a giantman.

Cman surge?

I can never understand how anyone could tolerate a low-strength race. The RP potential might be wonderful, but not being able to think about picking up a box without encumbrance is horrible.

Surge is a good thought but this is an alt I rarely play with no fixskills, no CMAN points to spare without migrating, no AS or MIU for casting Phoen's from anything ... at least rerolling won't be SO bad since I never play him anymore, but it's still going to suck to reroll my second highest leveled character ever heh.

PS. Stopped playing this character BECAUSE they are a low-strength race ha.

Funny thing is, I had no problem picking up the slabs to put them in the sack WITHOUT strength, then can't pick the sack up WITH strength even though I'm also now carrying less than I was then.

You know rerolling will clear your locker out?

You are better off assisting, I think they should be willing to help you with this. It's not exactly like a real person couldn't reach into a sack inside of a wardrobe and pull them out one at a time.

How did you get it in there in the first place?

Get spelled up by someone first? 509 and whatever else can help.

White crystal = 509, for those of you who's roids are hampering your reading abilities.

You know that rerolling will NOT clear my locker out?

As a chronic reroller, I can absolutely assure you of this.

If you use the website, you will lose your locker. If you use the IG method, it will not.

Yeah imagine if I also said AND WHATEVER ELSE CAN HELP.

509 is the only non-self-cast strength booster, which is why I asked. The only other spell that helps is 606.

Ahh I thought there was something you could get wanded on to you maybe. It's only been 5 years since I played.

You can reroll all you want, but you probably still won't be able to pick up that bag. There is a finite limit to what a person can pick up in one lift in Gemstone. What you really need is GM intervention here. 15x 25lbs = 375 pounds. That's enough to put you over the limit for any race.

Gemstone is quirky that way. You can load the sack one item at a time and carry the weight all day long, but you can't pick it up all at once. That is of course how he filled the bag in the first place: one slab at a time. Had he taken the items out of the bag and put them in the locker one at a time, he'd be AOK, and could pick up each of them and put them in the same bag and carry the weight.

Nice sack by the way.

Odd. When she was with me all she said was, "mrrgh glrrgh glrgh".

I suppose she wasn't talking with her mouth full in your case.

Isn't it interesting how when their mouths are full, "Nice sack, by the way", sounds exactly the same as, "I'm pressing charges for rape"?

What you could try is the feathers via the adventurer's guild. They also aid with encumbrance.

Heh. I couldn't resist on that one.

Back to the original subject. I say test out what I'm saying. There is a max you can lift. I ran into this with a 244 pound box up in the rift. I could easily carry that much weight, but there was no way, no matter what buffs I put up, I could lift the box. So I sat up there and waited for someone to come and field pick it. As is usually the case, it just had a crap load of coins in it.

I'll test it out tomorrow with a 100 STR/CON giant and see how it goes before I assist.

Pretty sure I believe you since I was able to get it this full on slab at a time even though I can now not pick it up. For some reason I thought you could put things in and take them out of a container in your locker. Oh well.

Planning on selling the sack once I get it out and measure the actual capacity.

IIRC the most weight you can life is equal to your body weight. So a halfling could lift roughly 100-110 lbs at once (not total mind you). Something like that, been awhile.
