keyboard malfunction

my wireless keyboard has gone crazy today. it wont register typing, but will randomly put shit down on its own (/q123g) or try and open random programs on its own.

its worked fine forever, changed the batteries/reinstalled program/driver for it.

microsoft wireless laser keyboard 6000 v2.0 if it helps.

Any suggestions? I took it apart to see if it was something in there, it wasnt. put it back together OK , but still malfunctions, and cannot use it.

Back to using my other broken keyboard that has a stuck spacebar currently

Sounds like the signal has been compromised. Did you have any security on the wireless signal? Sometimes other wireless devices can do it, which cause them to break. Or they can get hacked (though I've never witnessed this happen).

evidently my cell phone was too close to receiver and was giving interference.

I'd just buy a new damn keyboard but I like the $20 cheapass ones anyway. I've never been enamored with wireless stuff because I don't like the idea of being hit by invisible beams while I'm at a PC all day.

Alternatively, you can try popping the space bar out of your keyboard and cleaning out any debris or something jamming it.

Do you get radio reception, cell phone, or wi-fi where your computer is?
