Whether it's that idiot stopping traffic behind him to wave you across three lanes of speeding traffic, or the not so bright person that tries to take your side in an argument... helpful people suck.
Today's helpful person is Doug. I posted a general complaint about how a number of game systems seem to be counterproductive to their initially intended purpose. Doug chimes in with a lengthy post that is 50% irrelevant.
Thanks Doug! Obscuring all the issues and adding a page of garbage is really going to help the staff focus on the issues I brought up. I can only hope now that the thread will get further hijacked and then Krakii can chime in as well psychoanalyzing me for my aggressive attitude towards the staff.
Go away helpful people, you aren't helping. Let the system run smoothly without your input to foul things up.

This fucking annoys me to no end.

Could be worse, could have been Grendeg.

Like re-editing a GM's post to suit your own POV was going to get you somewhere? To be fair, I didn't really pay much attention to what Doug wrote, because I was already largely done skimming the thread, but Doug's a pretty darn good guy.

Careful or the staff will lose their Monk focus, you don't want to be responsible for that do you?

His posts in the Rift hunting thread have made me want to throw things. At least we got Coase to post the factors in the SMR out of it though.

Yeah, I almost want to credit him for that. Like he's smarter than the rest of us and just puts on the Grendeg persona to get GMs to throw players an information bone just to shut him up. But then I figure, nah, that's not possible.
