Batteries for that projector and the device will be expensive. They need to turn the person into a battery somehow to power these devices. Like in the Matrix! We can use farms of prisoners and undesirable members of society body heat to power our high tech devices.

Or we could just make infrared photovoltaic clothing polymers (http://sciencehouse.blogspot.com/2005/01/matrix-and-body-heat.html)...but massive prison farm Matrix style power plants would be so much better.
