So I decided to play with my little rogue and confused. At level 4 the character has 10 ranks in both blunt and two weapon combat. Armied with two whips (ok ok, one bullwhip and one cat'o'nine'tails) but for somereason I only attack with the bullwhip. Is there some secret to using the second weapon now?
Whips can't be used in the offhand.

Dang it... that would have been nice to put into the... oh I don't know, skills description? That'll teach me to base a character around this... LOL
And I do beg to differ.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQChT7upxKU

Doesn't look terribly effective as a weapon though :)

More so then not being used in the off-hand. They can't be used in two-weapon combat :( Tried with a mace and a ball and chain both in the off-hand and still only attacked with the whip :( Guess this character is going to have to use a fixskills... glad we get one yearly!

Ball/chain and whips cannot be used off-handed.

if you're 4 there's no way you've gotten to the point of needing a "fix skills"...cause you're granted that 100% instant skills migration for a month.

Beats me, this is all pretty new to me.. the whole skill migration and gaining exp between levels and having your skills raise between levels if you set the goals........ weird!
EDIT: Keeping the spirt of this character... how feesable in the long term would it be to go one-handed blunt with no shield?

Very feasible. I'd advise you to triple in dodge though and train at least 1.5x in ambush. You're going to need the dodge DS and you're not going to be an effective killer unless you ambush well.
