I just found the best milk!
There is a supermarket here called Hen House, that sells local farm fresh milk. It comes in an old style glass gallon bottle... and is so fresh the bottle I bought had a thin layer of cream on top.
I love milk, and thought I'd share.
Please note this has nothing to do with my Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia.

<------is allergic to whole cow's milk that is not pastuerized etc. Parents used to by it from the local farmer and they loved it. Had the cream on top etc. I always got sick. :(

Fresh milk is the best.
We drive down to Amish country (Arcola) every weekend and exchange our empties. You can tell a difference in taste between plastic and glass, just like pop ... and beer.

Yeah, I love how glass-bottled Coke is easier to buy now, they also make glass-bottled sprite which is really good.
Milk is now and has always been just plain gross.

Milk is great. I like whole milk and farm fresh is impossible to beat. My wife hates milk so I'm the only one that drinks it but we still go through a gallon a week.

Do you not eat cereal or something, Anticor? I can't imagine stretching a gallon for a whole week.
Call me a city slicker if you must, but I'd rather my milk be homogenous and sterile. If I want excitement in my food, I'll get Mexican.

Milk from the farm is pasteurized and homogenized you fruit, it just tastes better because it’s not like 5 days old already.

Cream on the top.. What the hell?!
I don't really like milk unless it's with cereal/I just got done eating peanut butter and there is no water to get to. After drinking skim milk and finding it pretty tasteless to drink (Water's healthier!) I haven't drank milk plain. Whole milk is good, but it's like drinking pure fat after you're used to the thinness of skim milk.
I eat my fat, I don't need to drink it to.

Skim milk is the devil.

The only way I'll drink milk is if it's got a 1/4 inch thick layer of chocolate syrup at the bottom of the glass.
Otherwise, it's good in my coffee, maybe a few tablespoons in a bowl of cereal, and a splash in my oatmeal. Or - mixed with Nestle's powder!
And skim milk is tasteless, developed for people with no taste. Whole milk or bust, baby!

I don't normally have time in the morning for cereal. I just have a few glasses when I get home at night.

Actually, if there's a layer of cream floating on the top, it's not homogenized. Homogenization is the process where the fat globules in the cream are broken down so that they're suspended in the milk, rather than floating on the top, creating an all around creamier milk product rather than a watery layer and a creamy layer. In many states, you can buy unpasteurized milk in stores also. It'll be labeled something like "raw whole milk" and can sometimes carry some really unpleasant pathogens.
Having had milk cows as a kid, all I can say is milk is disgusting.

I was loaned out to small dairy farms on occasion as a trade for goods or equipment. I still love milk.
My bad for saying homogenized, but milk is generally pasteurized as fast as humanly possible right out of the cow … in my experience.

It says right on the bottle it is "Grade A - Pasteurized - Homogenized"
Has cream on top, so I'd say you aren't entirely wrong.
