I'm currently voln and am considering going GOS. I was going to wait until the society review was released before deciding whether to make a change or stick with voln but who am I kidding. That shit is going to happen right after monks come out. And now that I'm hunting OTF almost exclusively, not having a TD booster is becoming a bigger deal. I will miss fogging, and Fu but the trade off is starting to sound worth it.

Is there another rogue here who is GOS that can chime in on how happy you've been with it? I haven't put any character through it before. I'm nearly 2x PF and 1.5x CM plus being krolvin puts my stamina at 151 currently, I only have 27 mana though. Will I have any issues keeping all of the offensive and defensive sigils up and running?

COL is appealing only because sign of madness is super fun for killing people, but GOS looks like its overall more useful. Plus I'm not sure how well my 7 spirit would allow me to take advantage of COL.

What build is your rogue?

Pros:

1) Post-cap hunting ground in every town
2) Remove impact of injuries when hunting / picking
3) Reduce EBP of enemies
4) Major damage / crit padding on armor
5) Emergency escape from battle

Cons:

1) Reaaally short durations for offensive / defensive sigils requires a lot of mana and stamina
2) Slightly lower AS / DS bonus than COL

Ranged, wearing MBP.

Yeah the durations are one of my main concerns. Which is why I'm curious if my current stamina and mana are enough.

Put it this way-

You can get roughly 16 minutes of signs per cycle at cap for COL. Spirit is therefore not an issue, unless you're hunting for a long time or use Sign of Healing.

I would not do Sunfist unless you have at least 120 stamina and 100 mana.

I think there are lots of squares who get by with far less mana.

On average, how much stamina does a capped warrior with at least 2x PF have? Between sigils and berserking I always run out so fast.

The mana thing isn't a total deal breaker... I'm approaching the final stretch to cap and there are only so many things for a rogue to look forward to. Spells and the mana to cast them are some of them.

Those durations though... Yikes... And now I'm noticing major bane isn't stackable. That's kinda shitty.

+20 TD is sounding sexy though.

I have 30 mana and like 95 stamina. I can go from fresh to must rest and typically have mana left at the end. But I am twc ambusher and don't cast spells.

sigil of concentration helps with mana regen so you can refresh your sigils more often during a hunt if need be. I get by with 120 stamina and 50 mana (actually now 65) and it works just fine.
