Curious as to what people will offer for this item.
Mostly coin, keep in mind as I don't think I'm really open to trades since nothing seemed interesting to me right now.

Don't you have a friend who really wanted this?

I do, but he's unable to purchase it at the moment, since he's always too busy buying other crazy things....Like the Tonis set.
I've PM'd Kerl about it already as well, and waiting for his reply.

Man. As much as he's done for other people, you'd think he would be worth it to you. If I had the silvers, I'd prolly purchase it knowing he would get me back.

Was it Durg or Khairz that wanted these? If it was Khairz he'd still have the coin had he not bailed out that mook who sold the claid.
x2 Deesnuts If it was Khairz and I had the coin I'd do the same.

Durg is the fellah Stun is referring to...Unless Stun is referring to some other friend that I'm unaware of who wanted it...Maybe Paul? Paul however has a string now.

Durgrimst is a good man in my book, and Paul already got his ( which I'm glad for ).

Why didn't you feel the need to put this in a PM?
Is the attachment permanent, or can it be transferred around to different weapons?

Permanent, I presume. A one time use deal, unless I'm wrong

Why didn't you feel the need to put this in a PM?
Because Durg's a good enough guy he should get some recognition?
Why did everyone post on the officials for Paul's behalf when it was a private matter? Because it needed to be said.
It is most definitely permanent. Pretty sure I'm the only person in plat or prime to actually use the string so far. It's pretty damned sweet.
-Richard.

It seemed like more of a cheapshot at the OP. I am sure you could have found a better way to say it but whatever.

I really have no idea what he meant in his original post anyway, most things that Durg has helped me out with was also his and is either in his possession still or he sold/traded.
Anything that my "friend" has helped me with has pretty much simply been from things he's already owned and let me borrow, not keep.

Wasn't a shot at Widgets, more of belief that Durg helped him out quite a bit, and trusted him with no small amount of his own things. Also, knowing the amount of scratch Durg has come up with before, I would GUESS ( caps because I'm not in someone's finances but Durg's sold some very nice shit ) he would be good for the silvers.
Most folks worth their grain of salt ( Avantos, Ardwen, Chivalrous, Ondreian, etc ) I myself would honor something for them, as I've worked with them and they've worked with me. I would just have to guess that same level of trust, if not more, would exist between Durg and Widgets.

Makes more sense to most now, when you put it in those terms. I don't think anyone really knew what the heck you meant for the most part, even including myself though I knew what you were trying to convey across.

WTF IS THE "EXTRA AS UNTIL YOU CAN'T HANDLE IT ANYMORE" THING?!

Every time you attack, if the target doesn't EPB you get a +3 bonus to AS.

"Until you can't handle it any more" seems to mean it might be capped at levelx2 or +50 AS, whichever is first?

I had an assumption that the weapon increased it's enchant up until a certain point(10x?) so long as the hurling attacker could withstand the same AS to their DS. Basically like the weapon coming back at them like an attack. This is just what I had thought from what I heard.

Yeah I got a neg rep from someone who thought that I negative repped them. It said:
"next time sign your neg rep, dumbass"... so I repped him right after (a positive rep because... seriously... what is rep going to do for you?) letting him know that I can't rep that quickly.

An Ethereal String 11-09-2009 08:19 PM Retard, people don't want your crappy plat weapon, they want info

They are more than capable of buying the string for themself and finding that info out for themselves. I see no reason to spill the beans on something and ruin it for someone who truly wants it.

From another thread, my understanding of the string, which might well be wrong, is that the AS boost increases without limit, but that each boost requires 5 mana and stamina from the wielder. You'd rather quickly run out of both.

That's why I said what I said earlier. Minus the mana/stamina cost.

Sounds like a good weapon for a sunfist semi, or mutant empath. Use that sigil to lower EBP, and let loose.

I never neg repped anyone ever. I can't count the number of times I've been neg repped for bidding on items though. It's quite amusing actually.
Woohoo neg rep and I didn't even bid on it
