Auctioning a gem-pommeled eahnor gladius graced with spirals of etched runes.
Trollslayer weapon from EG09 auction.
+30 base, cycles to +50 on trolls for two swings then starts again at +30.
(Note: the info I was given about Trollslayers having two strikes at 10x is different for the gladius which seems to do one at 10x and 1 at 11x, I am posting a log below)
Fire flares (does normal double hit on trolls), two scripts for locating trolls, show, loresong.
Works on Grimswarm, great weapon for a Sunfister.
5 lb, 94/235, not blessable. Short sword base, nice for THW user.

that is a ridiculously low flare rate.... normal flare rate is what? like 1/5?

1/5 seems high but I do not play my blade users too often, I seem to remember 1/7-9 for feras and drake.
Anyway, just did further testing and it flared 1/15-17 for a couple hundred swings.

as I got the gladius in Plat. the flare rate does suck on it.
Just something to consider I don't see them making two different versions for prime and plat. Now it might, as my character is only 25 in Plat and at 24 I only got a +48 out of it so it's entirely possible my guy is to low in level to see this benefit. If so that's pretty damn cool. But would be something for others to know that you can only receive the bonus allowed by your level.
Also that it goes right back to +30 on any non troll, which I thought sucked but the x11 enchant looks pretty damn nice, going to have to hit a couple more levels and check that out.

I have the espadon in prime, and was contacted by a GM yesterday. Apparently, they are indeed going to 11x. There are two possible solutions, either fix the script so it only cycles to 10x, or, drop the base enchant to 5x. I'm really hoping they can resolve the issue with the script.
Some additional information that may be useful on the flares, is that the blade has scripts indicating the flare is charging. First it will heat up, and then catch on fire, at this point it should be ready to flare (usually in four swings). However, there was an additional % chance to flare added at some point.
I suspect that the additional restriction giving it another % chance to flare was probably added in later on to nerf the weapon a bit. I was told by the GM that if you don't see it for 15 + swings, it's just bad luck with the flare 'check'.
Oh, and also, the GM mentioned that if there wasn't that additional % chance check on the flares, that I would be 'very happy' with the flare rate.
