Found Aegis in the Sands

Forgot I found an Aegis in the sands last night... In Illistim now, but if you lost one send me the description and I'll find a way to get it back to you.

I dropped it there; it wasn't enhancive and I didn't want to have to carry it around. I couldn't put it in the fissure because it kept giving me the "DO YOU KNOW WHAT THIS IS WORTH?!?!?11" message. It was worth 40k in a loresong which means it wouldn't even warrant the 35k pawnshop note.

Might as well sell it for whatever you can get.

The first thing that strikes you about the aegis is the weight, which is about 8 pounds. In your best estimation, it's worth about 40,000 silvers. You can also tell that there is some type of metal in the structure of the vultite aegis.
You sense a faint aura of magic around the vultite aegis. From the pitch of the vibration you determine that the purpose of the aegis is as a shield.
You drop an embossed vultite aegis.
