I'm leaning toward doing them in the silvers room to avoid every person throwing their token on every item in case there's something someone is truly interested in - I'm open to reasoned debate, but it will be one or the other for all items.
After that, you'll have the opportunity to trade your item for a consolation prize or simply collect a consolation prize if you don't take an item.
