First off, I'm not trying to advertise this. Now that that's said, I know OF Rozak, but don't really know him personally and am hoping someone that knows him can tell me if this is legit, or just a big scam:

Rozaks raffle, Rozak will be raffling off 100 raffle tickets. The raffle
will consist of most of the contents of his locker and some real nice high end
side items. EVERYONE will be a winner, every single raffle ticket buyer will
receive some item. Some are worth very little, many many mid items worth between 1m and 5m, and quite a few high end auctions items will be included. There will be winners of ICE age items, db items, auction items, and enchanted
claidhmores including one highly enchanted claidhmore, morphing weapons, padded armors,etc... Everyone wins! Raffle is limited to 100 tickets. Maximum of 4 tickets per person. Tickets are 4m a piece.

10x morphing weapon- 14 different types
5x stiletto. shortsword based dagger. Masterfully crit weighted
10x db item
6x Claidhmore
orb that eblades a 0x weapon to 10x with flares for 400 swings a day
amazing spell items

I'm guessing it's legit, but like I said, I don't know him personally or anything of his reputation.

Back in the day, there was a simaliar raffle, at 500k a ticket, using the wheel in the gambling hall(landing) to pick the numbers.

Does seem iffy to me.

But the items are really not that great that are shown, to me that is...

I'm not saying it's legit or non-legit since I don't know Rozak, but if Ardwen says it is, I'll take his word on it.

Tsin, he's a little too obsessed with making silvers in any way he possibly can (and GS in general), but other than that he's an ok guy, at least to his friends.

As for Rozak, all I know is he's been around a long time, and was part (or head) of House Jakarta, which from all I've seen and heard was basically just a big group of assholes. Not saying Rozak is one, but that's what I gathered about House Jakarta in general.

I don't know anything about the auction though. If it is indeed Rozak's auction, it would be honest and legit.

As someone else said...Rozak got all of these items way back in the day and likely paid a hell of alot less than 400m (what he will make from the raffle) for all of them combined. He'll still make a profit, and he'll get rid of alot of items in one fell sweep rather than having to sell all of them individually. He doesn't play much anymore from what I've seen, so this is a good way for him to handle cleaning out his locker.

IMHO, it's alot more honest than the "mystery" bag bullshit I see alot of people do.

Personally, once Tsin name gets associated with anything, I becomes extremely skeptical...
Moreover, from my previous experience when Tsin sold me one of those unassessable crit padded chain hauberk... it made me believe that Tsin is associated with Rozak in more then one way... or that they are really close buddies. Shrug. Just my experience and opinion.

Anyway, I'd be VERY VERY careful with this all especially if Tsin is involved.

Hah, 1k to 200m? Wether its legit or not is one thing, but its certainly a scam. This is no difference with the mystery bags except this is a flat price for only a random 1/100th share.

The odds just on your 4M and getting the 200M item isn't a good bet, and I doubt there are lots of 200M items or even more than one. I also doubt the estimate but I don't know what item they are thinking is worth 200M, none of the ones mentioned in the first post seem likely candidates. My guess its all the junk Tsin has been trying to sell for the last 2 months or more which won't move because of his inflated opinion of value.


The truth in all of this seems to be that they will make 400M, and they estimate the item's worth below that. I mean really, 400k to 800k isn't a big deal but surely if the items are worth 800M then its worth the time and effort to sell them right? It doesn't add up, but I'm a cynic.

I was at the raffle. Was a bunch of us there after it being announced a long time. I enjoyed the experience but I was so mad because the person before me won some super sword and I won a 5x shield worth like a million or so.

Then I thought about it and was like well usually when you lose ya get nothing and I did get something so who cares. I cant comment on the prizes except some REAL nice items were there and some REAL crappy ones. but raffle was definitely done very honestly and im glad tsin didnt spin!!! I would try my luck if they had another raffle I just would prefer a definite time and day- only complaint:)

Rozak, as I remember, always seemed to be a pretty nice guy, as did Ardwen (despite the House Jakarta debacle). However, once Tsin gets involved in anything, the stench begins to build around the enterprise. Hopefully, this raffle is an exception.

I don't know any of the characters involved or their histories...but I'd say go with your gut instinct on these matters.

From my perspective....even without the opinions of the people on this board it sounds like a scam to me. I can see someone like Ardwen selling off a couple of million coin item for half it's value, but when they're claiming the items are valued at 800m and the total raffle is 400m...it sounds like they're giving money away.

Supposedly a full list of items and winners is supposed to be released, once everyone has received their prize. Hopefully it'll be soon. I'm curious to see who won the high end stuff, and just how high end it is.

As far as 200m items go, I'm guessing those are values Tsin placed, which in reality means that the highest end stuff in the raffle is probably in the 100-125m range, since Tsin tends to ridiculously overprice things more often than not.

Then after the raffle a mass email of the raffle and a list of who got what. But no, its all fucked up. For me.. it's only 4 million silvers.. so not that big a deal. While 4 million is a ton for Falgrin (he still owes Ardwen 500K) it's nothing for me the player. I've never ever been that big on silvers in the game. I've probably given away far more than 4 million silvers in my time... and if I HAD to have silvers.. I guess I could always pay what.. $15 for a million?

Ardwen believes it to be on the up and up.. and that's good enough for me. If it was a scam.. hey, they got 4 million silvers from Falgrin. ::shrug::
